Benefits of Beta-Glucan

Beta-glucan is a polysaccharide found in oats, yeast and mushrooms. In skincare, beta glucan skin benefits center on hydration and a soft, comfortable feel, which is why it's a common pick for dry or sensitive-feeling skin. Its light, slightly silky feel suits watery toners, essences and serums, so a beta glucan serum fits as an early layer before moisturizer. It pairs well with centella, panthenol and ceramides. As with any new product, patch test first.

Tip

Skin still feels dry?

Apply a beta-glucan toner or essence on damp skin, then lock it in with a ceramide or hyaluronic acid moisturizer.

    30sDry Skin

    Pros

My child's skin tends to get dry easily, so I was looking for an emulsion with strong hydration. I decided to try Atoparm MLE Emulsion. The emulsion has a smooth texture that spreads nicely on the skin, and after applying it, my child's skin feels refreshed and moisturized, which I'm really happy about. It's not too thin, so the hydration level is solid, and it works great for applying all over the body after a bath. Since this is a product I use on my child's skin every day, I prioritize hydration and how it feels on the skin, and this seems like a perfect daily emulsion. I especially appreciate how easy it is to apply thoroughly to areas that dry out easily, like the arms and legs. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use the right amount each time. The generous size also makes it great for consistent use with my child. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the hydration and how well it absorbs, so I'd like to recommend this emulsion as a daily moisturizer for my child. I think it'll be especially useful during seasonal transitions and dry weather!

    Pros

I was selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and received the full-size product for free. This review was written before October 11, 2026 at 9:40 PM on Sunday. Product Name: Larome Oat Micellar Cleansing Milk Product Description: A gentle milk-textured cleansing milk containing oat-derived extracts that thoroughly cleanses impurities while leaving your skin feeling calm and hydrated even after washing. How to Use: Apply an appropriate amount to a dry face, gently massage, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or wipe clean with a cotton pad to finish. Product Size: 200ml Skin Type: I have dry skin (with deep dryness and tightness) I tested it on the back of my hand before cleansing, and I'm attaching a guide photo for your reference. The texture looks like a mix of emulsion and diluted essence. It has a white color and smells absolutely amazing. Absorption before use: Five hearts Hydration after use: Five hearts Product scent: Five hearts Softness after use: Five hearts After using it, the tightness on the back of my hand and face is relieved. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry skin. There's no slickness or stickiness at all. If I apply a face mask, emulsion, toner, or other products to my face before bed and then sleep, my skin condition is incredibly good the next day. I'll definitely keep using this.
