Pros
When I use it together with a face mask, it definitely seems to work better than just water. It also peels off more easily, and I'm really happy with how it works.
Madecassoside is a purified compound from Centella asiatica, valued for its soothing, comfortable feel on sensitive-feeling skin. As one of centella's key components, it's commonly used in serums, creams and masks to help skin feel moisturized and comfortable, and it's frequently paired with panthenol, ceramides and hyaluronic acid. On labels, it often appears next to "Centella Asiatica Extract," so check the ingredient list to see which compounds a formula includes. As with any new product, patch test first.

Madecassoside is a purified compound from Centella asiatica and one of centella's key components. Its benefits center on a soothing, comfortable feel on sensitive-feeling skin, which is why it's used in serums, creams and ampoules. On labels, it often appears next to Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside or Asiatic Acid, since these centella-derived compounds are commonly used together. A gentle serum or cream is a simple way to try it. It's frequently paired with panthenol, ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Patch test first.

OAT MICELLAR CLEANSING MILK

Pros
I was selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and received the full-size product for free. This review was written before October 11, 2026 at 9:40 PM on Sunday. Product Name: Larome Oat Micellar Cleansing Milk Product Description: A gentle milk-textured cleansing milk containing oat-derived extracts that thoroughly cleanses impurities while leaving your skin feeling calm and hydrated even after washing. How to Use: Apply an appropriate amount to a dry face, gently massage, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or wipe clean with a cotton pad to finish. Product Size: 200ml Skin Type: I have dry skin (with deep dryness and tightness) I tested it on the back of my hand before cleansing, and I'm attaching a guide photo for your reference. The texture looks like a mix of emulsion and diluted essence. It has a white color and smells absolutely amazing. Absorption before use: Five hearts Hydration after use: Five hearts Product scent: Five hearts Softness after use: Five hearts After using it, the tightness on the back of my hand and face is relieved. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry skin. There's no slickness or stickiness at all. If I apply a face mask, emulsion, toner, or other products to my face before bed and then sleep, my skin condition is incredibly good the next day. I'll definitely keep using this.
Not necessarily. Centella Asiatica extract contains several compounds, and madecassoside is one of them, purified as its own ingredient. Both are used for a soothing, comfortable feel, so check the label to see which a formula uses.
It's a common pick for a soothing, comfortable feel on sensitive-feeling skin, often paired with panthenol and ceramides. Results vary, so patch test first, and see a dermatologist if redness persists.
Generally yes. Madecassoside isn't known to clash with common actives, and soothing-focused routines often layer it with retinol or niacinamide. Add one new active at a time, and patch test before first use.
