It's rare to find a lip balm with such great ingredients. This is my absolute favorite for my inflamed lips. I love that they've introduced a new color! I think it would be even better if the orange shade was a bit more intense. - as*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2025
While searching for a lip balm with great texture, good ingredients, and pretty colors, I found Isoi's Sunset Orange to be quite appealing. My chapped lips improved significantly after using this lip treatment balm. On the left is Pure Red, and on the right is Sunset Orange. Pure Red has a clear feel with a slightly muted red color, while Sunset Orange has a less transparent texture (the color shows up better). Personally, I think having both shades would give you the prettiest color options. The color payoff isn't as beautiful as some other lipsticks. Especially as time passes, the shade can start to feel a bit dated. However, it's rare to find a lip balm with such good ingredients and this level of color intensity. - li*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 16, 2025
After suffering from severe cheilitis, I've been using only natural pigment lip products. I've been using and still prefer Isoi's original Pure Red product. When the new #SunsetOrange with its vivid orange hue was released and on sale at Hwahae, I decided to purchase it. • No irritation to the lips • It's like the original Pure Red color with just a tiny drop of orange mixed in • The moisturizing effect feels slightly improved compared to the original product • Hydrating formula with a slight oily feel • Smooth application • No chalky feeling when applying, deep yet clear color • The staining is slightly pink-tinted, but that's temporary. In fact, you can consider there's almost no staining at all. • Unlike Pure Red, it's not really a vivid orange hue. • Looking at the comparison shot I uploaded, Sunset Orange has a hint of orange, but when applied to the lips, the main color is Pure Red with a slight orange mix. The color difference from Pure Red is barely noticeable to the naked eye or in photos, which was disappointing. • The color longevity is on par with or less than Nivea* color lip balm • The case is glossy black. I prefer matte. • The product itself is suitable for people with cheilitis as it uses natural pigments. • If you like Isoi's original Pure Red color, you might be better off just getting another Pure Red. - ay*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2025
The color payoff is great and I love how subtle the shades are. It's really appealing! It's a bit dry which can cause some pilling, but it's still okay to use. - is*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 10, 2025
I've been using Pure Red before, and while it's quite intense for a lip balm, it looked a bit dull. So I decided to try the new Sunset Orange shade. It's not as intense, but it's brighter, which I think is a better choice for my deep undertone complexion. Given the quality ingredients, it's a bit disappointing that the orange isn't as vibrant as I'd hoped. You need to apply multiple layers to build up the color. - tj**********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 7, 2025
I decided to make my first purchase after reading about the high-quality ingredients and positive reviews of this lip balm. True to the reviews, it's wonderfully moisturizing, absorbs well, and has a beautiful color. I'm also grateful for the generous amount of samples they included! I haven't noticed any downsides yet. Given the excellent ingredients, I plan to repurchase in the future. - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
I've been wanting to buy the Isoi lip balm, and when I saw it was cheaper than at Olive Young, I snatched it up right away. (Purchased on Hwahae) This shade doesn't usually get much of a discount, so I'm thrilled I got it at a good price. Plus, they gave me so many freebies that I just had to write a review! I've tried Pure Red twice before, but this is my first time trying a different shade. Sunset Orange is perfect for warm skin tones! First off, the ingredients are fantastic, and it applies so smoothly. As someone with super dry, flaky lips, I usually have to apply lip balm before lipstick, but with Isoi's color lip balm, the shades are beautiful and it tames my dead skin cells, so I only need to apply this one product. So convenient! The ingredients are so good that I don't worry about ingesting it when I drink water or eat. I'm really happy they came out with various colors. If I had to find a downside, it's that it seems to run out quickly, probably because it's so moisturizing. It feels like I've barely used it, but suddenly it's gone. Though that might be because I use it so often... - gp*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 21, 2024
Super hydrating Beautiful packaging Great ingredients Lots of free samples Eco-friendly shipping packaging It's supposed to be orange but goes on pink The color in product photos looks like they applied it over concealer to neutralize lip color No matter how many layers, it's still pink Leaves a slight coral tint on tissue, but just pink on lips Bought it with high hopes, but seems it's hard to achieve a true orange with natural ingredients
