I've been using this throughout the winter. As hair tends to get dry and prone to static electricity in winter, I thought Aveda Nutriplenish Deep Moisture would be suitable for the season. And it truly delivers hydration! No static electricity, and my hair doesn't feel dry at all. While the hydration is nice, it makes my hair oily quickly. Even in winter, I can feel my hair getting greasy overnight. Considering the high price, it's a bit disappointing. As shown in the picture, when I apply the shampoo to my hair, there's absolutely no lather. Of course, lots of foam doesn't necessarily mean it's good, but still... It might be okay for dry hair in winter, but it's definitely not suitable for oily hair types. I imagine it would be even worse in summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2022
Aveda's Nutriplenish Shampoo seems perfect for dry scalps, providing deep hydration. The ingredients are better than expected, and given their reputation for hair products, I'd love to try their other offerings when I get the chance. The downside is that those with oily or very oily scalps might want to avoid this. Being a moisturizing shampoo, it could feel a bit heavy and rich. It's probably more suitable for use in winter and fall rather than summer. - eu*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2021
My scalp tends to develop issues, and some shampoos make it itchy. But this one suits my scalp well - no itching or blemishes, which I really appreciate. Aveda shampoos often have questionable ingredients and are quite pricey. While this one didn't cause any scalp itching or blemishes, it did have the downside of making my hair look oily pretty quickly. It has a scent that's somewhat reminiscent of bubblegum. When I first squeezed it into my palm, it looked similar to a treatment or conditioner, but it actually lathered up quite well. - zj*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 2, 2020
It's perfect for calming scalp flakiness during seasonal changes or dry weather, making those dead skin cells disappear It can feel a bit rich for summer use. However, if you have a dry scalp year-round, it should work well for you - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2020
My hair has been so dry lately, but I tried this product on a friend's recommendation and wow, it's incredibly moisturizing! My hair looks so much healthier now. There's nothing bad to say, really. The only thing might be that it's a bit pricey, haha. But honestly, all of Aveda's hair products seem to be pretty great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2020
Perfect for those with thick, unruly hair. After shampooing, it leaves your locks beautifully tamed. It would have been even better if it had additional scalp care benefits.
