It has a bit of a scent, which might be hit or miss for some people. On days when I've exfoliated or on areas where makeup usually doesn't adhere well, I soak a cotton pad and gently press it onto my skin before applying makeup - it really helps the makeup go on beautifully. After a particularly dusty day, I thoroughly cleanse, then generously apply the toner with a soaked cotton pad, wiping gently.
