- First off, it goes on thin and light. Some matte lipsticks can be thick, but this one applies so thinly it's like you're barely wearing anything. - The staying power is impressive. Even after coffee and meals, more than half of it remained on my lips. The color payoff is quite good. Although it's called 'Red', it's actually a vibrant fluorescent pink with a touch of red. The texture is just right - neither too heavy nor too light. The staying power is decent - it can last from morning to lunchtime if you don't eat anything. However, it does come off almost completely when you eat. It smudges more than expected. Also, the formula is a bit matte, which can make your lips feel dry quickly. You'll probably need to use a lip balm with it. If you pat it on gently, you can create a nice pink shade. The case is reflective, so you can use it as a quick mirror to check your lip color when you don't have one handy.
