I used this product a while back, but I'm writing this review after stumbling upon some old photos while cleaning out my phone. There was a time when I was absolutely obsessed with Innisfree, and after trying a sample of this cleanser, I loved it so much that I bought four during a buy-one-get-one-free sale. I was using it happily until one winter when I washed my face with it and suddenly felt an intense burning sensation. It caught me off guard, and because it was so uncomfortable, I ended up giving away the remaining three to a friend. Looking back now, I realize I didn't know much then. I wonder if my skin was already irritated before cleansing. Since then, I've had two other instances where my skin burned severely with different cleansers or skincare products. Reflecting on why this happened, I suspect it might have been due to over-exfoliating with a cleansing water and cotton pad during my first cleanse. Of course, if the foam had been truly gentle, it probably wouldn't have stung so much. This cleanser did have good cleansing effectiveness and left my face feeling less tight after washing, which is why I stocked up. However, the ingredients aren't particularly skin-friendly (I bought it before I knew about Hwahae). So while there were some good points, I also remember the burning sensation. My friend, though, said she liked it and used it well. It contains too many PEGs. No wonder it had such good cleansing power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2022
This cleansing foam has a creamy texture rather than abundant lather. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized after use. The downside is that it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling after use. If you prefer that super-clean sensation, you might find this a bit disappointing. - ji*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2022
The cleansing effectiveness was pretty good. I liked the scent, and overall, I'm satisfied with it. Since it's a product that allows air to enter, it became difficult to squeeze out when I was almost finished with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2020
It's not terrible, but I can't say it's great either. There are many gentler products with better cleansing effectiveness, so I won't repurchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 25, 2020
I tried this when my skin was dry, and it didn't cause excessive tightness, so it's suitable for use even in winter. Innisfree often has buy-one-get-one-free offers, so I recommend purchasing during sales. After using this, I developed small bumps. I also tried another Innisfree foam cleanser, but neither of them suited my skin well. As a result, this product ended up abandoned in a corner of my bathroom. It seems they made the right decision to discontinue it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2020
It's truly... the best! I'm sobbing! Even though I have oily skin, I'm completely satisfied and using it regularly. Discontinued... oh no! I really wish they would bring it back. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2020
Skin type: Combination (Sensitive) The bubbles form beautifully and abundantly! After washing your face, you'll experience baby-soft skin that feels fresh and clean. If you get something on your clothes, you can use this cleansing foam to spot clean effectively. Occasionally, I experience deep dryness in winter. However, this can be remedied by using a hydrating mask for moisture replenishment. - lo**********Combination SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2020
I've gone through several bottles of this cleanser and keep coming back to it. It removes makeup effectively and lathers well, making it a pleasure to use. I can't think of any downsides. There's no noticeable tightness after cleansing either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2020
I love the citrusy scent that's close to tangerine, and the cleansing effectiveness is decent. The texture isn't sticky, and the price point is reasonable. It's the product I use most frequently from Innisfree's lineup. There doesn't seem to be any standout feature that would make this product a must-have. Its ordinariness is both its strength and weakness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2020
I used this as a second cleanser after my makeup remover, and it seemed to effectively remove any remaining makeup. While using it, I felt a bit of dryness on my skin. On the other hand, it didn't seem to effectively remove sebum from my nose area.
