Here's my review after purchasing and using the product. I have a scalp type that gets greasy if I don't wash my hair even for a day, and I've been concerned about dandruff and excess sebum recently. The menthol ingredient gives a refreshing feeling on the scalp after washing, which I really liked. It seems especially suitable for summer use. Even when washing with lukewarm water, you can feel a cool, refreshing sensation. As it's a silicone-free treatment for oily, dandruff-prone scalps, it might feel drying for some people, but it's very suitable for those with oily scalps. I particularly appreciated that it didn't make my hair feel heavy like other treatments. It doesn't contain salicylic acid! While salicylic acid is effective for sebum control, it's a ingredient that pregnant women should use cautiously. Although it's likely safe in low concentrations, sensitive individuals, pregnant women, and children under 3 should be careful when using products containing it. (There's a belief that ingredients that touch the scalp can be transmitted to the uterus in women.) It does make the hair feel dry. I use a hair essence just on the ends of my hair after drying. Buy Innisfree hair products when they're 50% off for a great deal. Among the same Hair Recipe line, the Refreshing (for oily scalps) products contain salicylic acid. I recommend buying the Anti-Dandruff product instead of the Refreshing one. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2019
This is the first time I've tried this product. I bought it during a sale for about 6000 won, which was 50% off. The first thing I noticed is how refreshing it feels on the scalp when you use it. While it doesn't completely eliminate itchiness, it definitely reduces it, which is great. I also love the cool, minty scent - it's so invigorating! After using it, my hair feels softer too. Overall, it's excellent value for money. There wasn't really anything I disliked about it... - my******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 14, 2018
I got this on sale and the price was an absolute steal! It feels so refreshing after use, which is really nice. I love that you can use it on both scalp and hair, but I only apply it to my hair. It's great that I don't need to use a separate product! I guess it's too much to expect a dandruff product to be good for hair texture. It leaves my hair feeling a bit stiff, unfortunately. - do****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 23, 2018
As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, this is great to use when my scalp feels tight and dry after using strong cleansing shampoos. It's quite moisturizing. The cooling effect is intense - you can really feel it tingling. The generous size means you can use it without worrying about running out. It doesn't seem to cause any additional blemishes, which is a plus. It's particularly useful for me since I tend to have a hot scalp. However, given how chronic my condition is, I wouldn't go as far as to highly recommend it. It's difficult to rinse out completely. While it's marketed as a treatment suitable for all scalp types, including seborrheic ones, any residue left behind could potentially cause irritation. It's quite slippery, so you need to rinse thoroughly. Although it calms the hair, it seems to make the scalp oily faster, so I only use it at night. It can feel a bit heavy on the scalp. The cooling effect is immediate but temporary - it wears off once your hair dries. The 'anti-dandruff' claim falls short. It doesn't actually remove dead skin cells, but rather seems to just press them down with its creamy texture. Personally, I wish it had small, water-soluble scrub particles for exfoliation (absolutely against microplastics, and large particles can easily damage the scalp). Given the nature of scalp products, it's hard to find a five-star worthy one. This one is neither exceptionally good nor bad, so it's just okay. I recommend applying a generous amount. If you section your hair into seven parts and apply it, you'll feel a coolness as if you've just washed your hair in the dead of winter. Sleeping with a partially melted ice pack under your head can help significantly reduce scalp heat. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2017
I used to struggle with hair masks, trying to avoid getting them on my scalp. But this product is designed to care for the scalp too, so I don't have to worry about that anymore. It's great! My hair texture has improved, and my scalp is less itchy. Since it's a squeeze-out product, it can be a bit of a hassle to open, close, and squeeze every time you use it. It's convenient to apply this after washing your hair, put on a shower cap, finish your shower, and then rinse it out.
