The dry feeling has significantly diminished. For a pore pack, it's surprisingly hydrating. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I'd say it's even better than the volcanic ash pore pack. - ze********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2025
Back in the day, I was really struggling with blackheads and large sebaceous filaments on my nose. During my school years, those peel-off nose strips were all the rage. I kept using them without properly taking care of my skin afterwards, which led to my pores gradually expanding. Even as an adult, I was at a loss for what to do, so I just left my skin in that neglected state. The instructions said to apply it to bare skin, let it soak in while showering, and then gently massage it. So that's exactly what I did. And wow, the results were amazing! It was incredible to see how the sebum came out just by massaging with my fingers. The scent wasn't overpowering at all, and it didn't cause any blemishes. After using this product, my blackheads noticeably decreased, which was great. They were barely visible anymore. I haven't tried any other pore packs yet, so I don't have anything to compare it to... After using this, I noticed an increase in whiteheads (though I'm not entirely sure if that's what they are, as the texture is a bit bumpy). While the blackheads definitely improved, I started seeing more whiteheads. The tricky thing is, blackheads were easy to cover with makeup, but these whiteheads look like little holes all over, which is even more noticeable and bothersome. (Again, I'm not certain if they're whiteheads or just bumpy texture... Before using this, my nose area was clear, but now I keep getting these sebum-filled bumps on the sides of my nose.) It's worth noting that while this product was effective for blackheads, it may have caused some changes in skin texture. If you're considering using it, keep an eye on how your skin responds and consider consulting with a dermatologist if you notice any concerning changes. Remember, everyone's skin is different, so what works for one person may not work the same for another. - gh*********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJun 18, 2025
Squeezing it out evenly is truly a challenge. Is all this effort really necessary? Why not just make it half and half? Let me try to highlight some positive aspects: 1. It's not drying Thanks to the blue, hydrating mask portion, there's no dryness during application or after rinsing. 2. Gentle sebum control suitable for daily use While I'm unsure about its effect on pores, it does absorb some excess oil. It may not work on blackheads, but it might help a bit with whiteheads. The short 3-5 minute application time allows for frequent use. It's genuinely inconvenient to use, and the results are underwhelming. I won't be repurchasing. 1. No matter how much I press the "squeeze here" area, the clay doesn't come out easily. The hydrating mask portion gushes out while the clay part separates and stops flowing. They say to tap the opening 3-5 times before squeezing, but why do I always end up with a flood of blue hydrating mask? I waste the hydrating mask trying to get the clay part out. I thought it was just the first time, but every use results in an overflow of hydrating mask while the clay separates and stops. The tube-in-tube structure prevents even distribution. 2. Ineffective for both pores and sebum control A volcanic scoria mask would be better. 3. The cooling effect is questionable at best. Remember to use it after cleansing and removing excess water from your face. - wo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 12, 2025
This is an honest review from someone with combination skin (oily T-zone, normal U-zone) after using the product for a month: 1. The texture is smooth and not too thick, making it easy to apply. It comes with two types - a clay-colored mud mask and a blue hydrating mask. Both have a soft consistency that spreads nicely on the face. 2. It's convenient to use as you only need to leave it on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing off. You can apply it, brush your teeth, and then wash it off - perfect for those who don't have time for lengthy mask routines. It's ideal for busy people who struggle to fit masking into their schedule. 3. After use, my skin feels moisturized without any tightness, which I really like. Unlike traditional clay masks that can feel uncomfortably tight as they dry, this one doesn't cause that sensation. It feels hydrating both during application and after rinsing. 4. I'm pleased to notice that it seems to reduce sebum production and whiteheads. I started using it when my skin got oilier due to the change in season, and I've observed less shine in my T-zone and fewer whiteheads on my forehead and chin. Overall, my complexion looks clearer. I'd recommend this for oily or combination dehydrated skin. 1. While it's good for preventing whiteheads and blackheads, it's not as effective at removing existing blackheads. You need to use it consistently to see results. 2. Although the product advertising suggests daily use is fine, I found my skin became a bit irritated when I used it every day. Those with super sensitive skin might need to adjust how often they use it. For me, using it twice a week worked best. I'd recommend this to anyone who dislikes the thick consistency of traditional mud masks or the intense tightening sensation they can cause. - ho****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 12, 2025
I initially bought this as a pore-tightening mask for dry spring and autumn days, but I think it's suitable even for winter use if you have combination dehydrated skin. As you can see in the photos, it's almost like a hydrating mask, and it applies like a thick layer of moisturizer. Highly recommended for dry skin types. For those with deep dryness, this mask provides a moisturizing sensation that really penetrates the skin. I purchased this expecting pore-tightening effects, but the experience wasn't quite what I anticipated. I've been using the Bring** clay mask and was looking for a less drying pore care product for spring and autumn. However, this feels more like a hydrating mask. It's a bit disappointing that it's essentially a hydrating mask that needs to be washed off. I haven't discovered any special tips yet, but I'm curious about layering it with a thicker clay mask for a customized treatment. - re******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
It's so convenient - you can finish it in just 3 minutes while showering. While it might not tackle severe pore issues, it does wonders for those small, now-you-see-them-now-you-don't pores, making them virtually disappear. The hydrating formula makes it perfect for winter use, leaving your skin feeling comfortable. There's nothing particularly negative to point out. If I had to nitpick, compared to the original volcanic clay mask, this one doesn't offer cooling effects or sebum removal. It seems to focus solely on pore care. - cj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
I was amazed by the dual-action concept. It's such an innovative approach! I'm not sure about this one. It feels slippery when washing, and I can't even feel the characteristic rough texture of volcanic scoria... - ki***********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2025
When it comes to pore care with volcanic ash, Innisfree is the go-to brand! It's gentle enough for daily use, causing minimal irritation while effectively tightening pores. Every time I use it, I'm impressed by how beautiful it looks, which instantly lifts my mood. As you blend the two creams and roll them onto your skin, the volcanic ash powder helps exfoliate dead skin cells. The blue cream acts as a hydrating mask, while the beige one contains volcanic ash for exfoliation and pore care. After use, it locks in moisture, preventing skin from drying out. I'm really pleased with how it manages both exfoliation and hydration! I appreciate that it helps manage both hydration and sebum control. I've used various wash-off packs for sebum control, but they often dry out quickly if left on too long, making them difficult to rinse off and leaving my skin feeling tight. However, this pack doesn't have those issues, which is great. I'll definitely consider repurchasing when I run out. After cleansing, pat your face dry, apply the product with your hands, wait 3-5 minutes, then gently roll it off before rinsing. Since it's gentle enough for daily use, I've been using it every day after cleansing. My skin definitely feels softer after use, and my makeup applies more smoothly the next day, which I love. - hj******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 31, 2025
- The gel-cream-like texture makes it easy to apply and feels moisturizing - It's nearly fragrance-free, so I used it without any concerns - Contains hydrating ingredients, which seems to address the drying effects typical of clay masks (no tightening sensation as it dries, so it's less irritating) - Dissolves well in water, making it easy to rinse off - Helps manage dead skin cells, excess oil, sebum, blackheads, and whiteheads (seems suitable for oily or combination dehydrated skin) - Likely to really shine during summer - Based on its ingredients, it seems good for use on arms or legs with keratosis pilaris - The tube packaging makes it convenient and hygienic to use - This isn't a product issue, but when I used it once while my skin was in poor condition, it caused redness and dryness. Make sure to use it only when your skin is in good condition - Be sure to stick to the recommended application time and avoid rubbing your face when rinsing it off
