I originally used this for my hair, but I ended up buying it separately for my face because I was using too much on my head! This time, I got the special No Sebum × Emoji Edition released for the 11th anniversary ;)
First off, what I love most about this compared to other no-sebum powders is that it doesn't contain any ingredients that are concerning for the skin. To be honest, I initially bought it just because it was popular, but after my skin had a bad reaction, I started paying more attention to cosmetic ingredients. While other drugstore no-sebum powders might have one or two questionable ingredients, this one has none, so I felt completely safe repurchasing it!!!!!
It does a great job of filling in small areas like pores and fine lines!
And of course, everyone knows how famous it is for controlling facial oil. Many people use it on their hair too, so its effectiveness goes without saying! The powder particles are neither too fine nor too coarse - just right for absorbing oil while still being easy to wash off.
The packaging is also sturdy and nice! I'm someone who frequently drops things and ends up shattering eyeshadows, lip tints, and even phones, but this hasn't cracked at all. I also like that the lid is secure, so the powder doesn't leak out :)
When I first used it on my face, I got excited and applied too much, which led to my skin feeling dry. It seems like you need to be careful with the amount you use!
Also, since it comes with a fluffy puff instead of an air puff, you might need to pay a bit more attention to keeping it clean...
Oh, and the scent is a bit stuffy? Anyway, it's a smell I can't seem to get used to.
