I bought this Kiss Me eyeliner without hesitation since I've had good experiences with their other products. First off, it's so thin that it allows for really precise and detailed application. The color was exactly what I wanted, which was great. However, it sets so quickly that if you try to add another layer, it can clump and smudge off. This is a bit of a downside. While the fast-setting formula is a plus, it's a bit tricky if you want to make adjustments as you're applying. On the bright side, because it sets so fast, there's no smudging and the staying power is really impressive. The only drawback I can think of is the price - it's on the expensive side. But the product is so good that I'm already on my second one. - al********Normal SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2024
Thin and easy to create a clean wing. No smudging. The color is a natural deep brown. Excessive powder fallout - it's supposed to be an eyeliner, but there's so much powder flying around it feels more like an eyeshadow. As time passes, your face gets messier. Ironically, it has unnecessarily good staying power, so you'll have powder falling on your eye area all day long. Can't retract the pencil. Doesn't apply well to the waterline. I've been using slim gel liners from Clio, The Saem, and Merzy, but I've never encountered one that applies this poorly. It's like trying to draw on your eyes with a stiff crayon (probably due to tears?). I'm only using it to draw dots now... - cy********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2023
The color payoff is fantastic, and it applies so smoothly. I love how it doesn't break easily - it's really great! It's a bit thick, so those with less steady hands might struggle to draw fine lines. - ca*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2023
1. It's a pencil, but it's thin and precise. 2. It stays put without smudging or fading. 3. The color looks natural. 4. For a long-lasting formula, it removes easily during cleansing. 1. You need to twist it quite a bit to get the product out. 2. It has the typical drawback of pencil-type products: the tip can be a bit blunt. If the outer corner of your eye looks too thick, gently wipe it with a cotton swab lightly coated with foundation right after application for a more natural look. - 71******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2022
Minimal smudging. Excellent staying power. Thin and easy to apply. Too much excess powder and breaks easily. Oddly, if not applied correctly, it doesn't maintain its shape due to the skin and disappears. Not sure if it's my eyes, but it's difficult to draw. Once twisted up, you can't retract it. - ha******Dry SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2022
Having tried both the Priism Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep and the Smooth Liquid Liner Super Keep from the same brand, I'd like to compare their pros and cons in this review. The thinness is absolutely fantastic! It's perfect for creating a natural look, even with minimal makeup. You can subtly extend the outer corners of your eyes for a fresh appearance. The fine tip makes it so much easier to handle and work with. It's also great for tightlining. I always struggled to fill in my waterline with brush-tip liners, but with this product, I can easily line from the middle of my eye to the outer corner. I just use this liner to slightly define the outer corner, then finish with a brush-tip liner for a foolproof eyeliner application. The smooth application is a real plus. It glides on effortlessly, which is a relief compared to some stiffer liners out there. What's even better is that despite its smoothness, it doesn't break easily, making it a top choice in my book. The only downside is the limited product amount. As someone who applies makeup daily, I've had quite a few frustrating mornings where I hear the clicking sound of an empty container, but no eyeliner comes out. It can be quite a shock when you're in a rush! - in******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2022
I love it! I used to use Clio, but this one seems thinner and easier to apply, so I've switched to using only this now. Once you twist it up, you can't twist it back down, so make sure to turn it just a tiny bit when using it. - ka**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2021
The color payoff, smooth application, smudge-proof formula, and thin pen tip for precise detailing are all fantastic. It breaks easily. Be sure to twist it back down before closing the cap, or it might snap off. Use it gently, twisting up just a little at a time. The fine tip allows for such precise application that I even use it to draw delicate aegyo-sal (under-eye aegyo) lines. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2021
I use this daily, and it doesn't smudge at all, even in summer! All the gel eyeliners I've used before (except for brush types) would smudge, but this is the first one that stays put. I also love how thin it is, making it effortless to apply. It's perfect for my daily look where I just slightly extend the tail of my eyeliner - not too dramatic and very user-friendly. It's frustrating that you can't retract the product, and it's annoying when you accidentally click it a few times while putting the cap on. Also, because it's so thin, it has broken a few times while I was applying it. But to be fair, this happens with other eyeliners too, so it's somewhat tolerable. Overall, it's a pretty good product! - ja********Normal SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2021
I've only tried Kiss Me's liquid eyeliner before, but this pencil version glides on surprisingly smoothly for a first-time use. It seems to work better for subtle looks rather than bold ones. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it holds up against oily skin. The pencil is so thin that I'm worried it might break while I'm using it. Other than that, I haven't noticed any drawbacks yet.
