I usually have dry skin, and with the cold wind blowing, I was looking for a moisturizing cushion foundation. When I heard that COSRX had launched a new cushion, I decided to try it since I've used their propolis ampoule before and thought it would be suitable for winter.
My first impression was that it gave an instant glow, not a greasy shine, but more like an Inner Glow effect, as if I'd applied a highlighter. I was really satisfied with that! However, given its hydrating formula, I hoped it wouldn't transfer onto my mask in this current situation, but unfortunately, that part was a bit challenging. It doesn't transfer heavily, but there is some transfer. As time passes, rather than feeling dry, it loses some of its initial moisture, but it doesn't become a drying formula.
It might be a bit rich for summer use, but it seems perfect for this season. Even for those with oily skin who like a dewy look, it's not too oily, so it might be worth trying. If excess oil appears over time, you can blot it with oil-absorbing sheets or touch up with the cushion to revive the glow.
I'd recommend this to anyone who likes hydrating products and loves a glowy complexion!
It might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. However, if you don't have extremely oily skin, it could work well for various skin types.
