The Face Shop is the only cosmetics store left in my neighborhood, so I ended up dropping by and making a purchase. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I used to wear heavy makeup frequently, so I preferred cleansing products with strong cleansing effectiveness. I favored oils over foams, which is why I started using this. I'm quite satisfied with its cleansing power - it removes everything except waterproof mascara! Plus, it didn't cause any blemishes on my face. While the fragrance is pleasant, it's quite strong, which might be hit or miss for some people. - ob*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 19, 2020
It's convenient having both cleansing oil and foam in one product Unfortunately, the ingredients aren't great, so I probably won't repurchase - hc******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 12, 2019
The oil-to-foam formula is fascinating. The scent isn't unpleasant. For my impatient past self who felt compelled to use foam cleansers, it provided a sense of relief with its fragrance, lather, squeaky-clean feeling, and quick texture transformation. It doesn't remove makeup as well as expected. Residue still comes off when using toner afterward. Although I tend to wear heavy makeup, even with today's long-lasting cosmetics, it should still cleanse effectively. For a product that leaves the skin feeling dry and dehydrated, its makeup cleansing power seems inadequate. It's great for quickly removing cosmetics from your hands when you're short on time (but be careful, it might transfer onto dark clothing if you rub against it). It's useful for wiping off sunscreen or other products from your neck. You can also use it to clean your hands before your main makeup cleansing routine. - wj*********Dry SkinApr 30, 2019
It works really well when used together with my cleanser. I find it removes makeup surprisingly effectively, so overall I'm quite pleased with it. The oil feels a bit too watery for my liking. I wish it had a slightly thicker consistency. - co*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2018
If I had to pick something positive, I'd say it emulsifies easily and doesn't leave residue on the skin. This product disappoints in many ways. I strongly advise against it. Go for something else instead. The worst part is that it stings my eyes terribly, making it impossible to cleanse around that area. Moreover, after applying it to my face, it thickens and seems to dry on the skin. As a result, it doesn't roll off properly, which naturally reduces its cleansing effectiveness. It's best to use a separate lip and eye remover for the eye area, and avoid using this oil near the eyes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2017
The only redeeming quality I can think of is the fragrance... Just the fragrance... Did I mention the fragrance? (Struggling to find positives) It makes me wonder if there's anyone out there who would actually buy this product again - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 9, 2017
Well, I can't say there was anything particularly outstanding about it. It was just okay for everyday use. I didn't experience any blemishes or breakouts. However, I felt like it didn't cleanse thoroughly enough on its own, so I ended up doing a second cleanse. First off, the consistency is way too thin. When you pump it into your hand and try to apply it to your face, it just runs off. I feel like I wasted half the product. Also, after massaging for about 30 seconds, my eyes start stinging unbearably. I can barely keep them open. And I'm not sure if it's just my bottle, but there seems to be some leakage when pumping the product out. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 26, 2017
It's great that I don't need a separate cleansing foam. It removes makeup well and seems effective. However, it makes my face and eyes feel a tingling sensation. But fortunately, it doesn't cause any visible reactions on my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 22, 2017
Since the formula is water-based, if you apply it generously to your face and cleanse with water, it removes all foundation effectively It's obvious, but you need to use a separate remover for eye makeup. People seem to give it a low rating because they want to remove everything with one oil-based product. But that's not good for your eyes - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 5, 2016
I can't really find anything good about it, to be honest. If I had to say something, I guess it satisfied my curiosity about the oil-to-foam format, which I'd been wondering about. This oil-to-foam cleanser is supposed to combine the functions of a cleansing oil and a cleansing foam, but it fails to do either effectively. My sunscreen and base makeup remained completely intact. While I could overlook the foam aspect, it should at least work as a cleansing oil, but it doesn't remove anything at all. I ended up with a ton of blemishes all over my face. I never really understood what people meant by skin 'freaking out' until I experienced it firsthand with this product.
