I first spotted this at Olive Young and bought it out of curiosity. It's a product I've been using for quite a while now. Despite having long hair, it lathers well, and since it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients, it doesn't cause any blemishes. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with scalp issues. Admittedly, without conditioner, your hair might feel a bit stiff, but I've gotten used to it and find it okay. However, it seems like it's not selling well these days as I can't find it in stores anymore. It's such a shame! - pe********Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2016
If I use a harsh or incompatible shampoo, my scalp gets flaky and my palms peel, but this doesn't happen with this one. It also reduces hair loss, which is great. After using it, my hair feels stiff when wet, but even without conditioner, it dries soft as if I used one. It's amazing! With long-term use, my hair is becoming stronger too. It doesn't lather well. I wish they'd stop with the donut shape... the ring breaks. As it gets smaller, it's awkward to use, and later it breaks into pieces that get tangled in your hair. The adhesive on the included hook is terrible. Sometimes you get a good one, but on average, they're not great. One bar lasting 3 months... doesn't seem right. Maybe for a man's hair, but for me, it's gone in about 2 months. It's a bit pricey. It's easier to use if you wet your hair, smooth it in one direction, and apply the shampoo bar as if you're combing through it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2015
The texture is decent. For a shampoo bar, it's less stiff than expected. Rinses out quite well. 1. Ingredients. Natural shampoo bar? Yeah, right! No wonder my scalp gets itchy when I use this. The scent isn't particularly long-lasting or pleasant either. 2. Doesn't lather much, so you go through it quickly. I've tried all sorts of natural shampoos and shampoo bars, but this one lathers the least. 3. Makes my scalp itch like crazy. But at least it doesn't cause blemishes! While the ingredients themselves are mostly non-harmful, I suspect it's due to some potentially allergenic components. Might vary from person to person. Still, I'm giving it a higher score because it doesn't cause breakouts. It doesn't lather well. It's best to shampoo twice. For the first wash, just apply the lather to your hair and rinse it out. When you wash it the second time, it'll foam up much better. - dd*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 18, 2015
Highly recommended! It's my first time using a shampoo bar, and I'm impressed. No sodium laureth sulfate or other harmful ingredients commonly found in shampoos. No blemishes, and it works just as well as regular shampoo - I'm thrilled! Usually, natural or 'clean' shampoos don't perform as well as conventional ones, but this one cleanses thoroughly. The best part? Less hair fall! I've always had thick hair, but there was always hair all over the floor, bathroom, and clogging the drain. Using this made me realize that my previous shampoo might have been causing excessive shedding... I'm quite shocked! I'll definitely keep using this for a while. While it's great that it doesn't contain sulfates or parabens, it's a bit disappointing that it still includes fragrances and some potential allergens. Apparently, one bar can last about three months, though I haven't used it that long yet. When you open the package, there's a soap holder included - how thoughtful! There are four types to choose from based on your scalp type: oily, dry, sensitive, or normal. Each has a different scent. I'm using the sensitive scalp version, which has a subtle fragrance. You don't need conditioner, but personally, I'd recommend Aveeno conditioner to go with it.
