Skin type & concerns: I'm a 30-something guy with combination, sensitive skin prone to blemishes. I'm pretty picky about skincare products. Preferred sunscreen type: I absolutely need a sunscreen that's low on oil and doesn't cause any breakouts. If it can brighten my complexion too, that's a bonus! Why I started using it: I'm always on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen, constantly switching things up. By chance, I tried my wife's sunscreen and fell in love with it. It's hands down the best brightening sunscreen I've ever used. Best features: No blemishes, minimal white cast, and not greasy at all. The packaging is a bit too flashy for a guy to buy... It's slightly awkward, but since I only use it at home, it's not a big deal. It might be nice if they offered a men's version or made the packaging more gender-neutral. There's another sunscreen called YBK without brightening effects. Mixing the two gives amazing results! - dl********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2025
Natural skin correction is achieved. It is suitable as a simple sunscreen to apply when wearing light makeup. The white cast tends to last a bit longer. If you like the presence of white cast, it's a like, otherwise it's a dislike. It also feels a bit tacky when applied. Gently pat on - wk*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMay 12, 2025
I bought this because it's a mineral sunscreen, and I love how thinly and lightly it applies! It also provides a natural brightening effect, which is fantastic. The only downside is that you need to double cleanse to remove it completely, which is a bit of a hassle. - wo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2025
It brightens my complexion without any stickiness~ Also helps control sebum The texture is a bit thick and the application is just okay? You need to press it into the skin~~ - gh********Dry SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
With both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, this sunscreen likely covers a broad spectrum of UV rays and even the lower wavelengths of visible light. While there's some white cast, it's unavoidable with these two ingredients. The absorption is generally good for a product with these components. The downside is that it can be hard to get your hands on when it occasionally goes out of stock. Personally, I prioritize sunscreen functionality, so I prefer products containing both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, even if they leave a white cast. It's even better if niacinamide is included. Based on these criteria, this product seems to be a good choice. - rj********RecommendedApr 22, 2025
I bought this because I have combination dehydrated skin~ I'm hoping it'll be as effective as the product description claims! I'll update my review after using it for over a month! I've only used it for a day or two, so I'm not sure about its effects yet. - be********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2025
When applying, it goes on smoothly and I was worried it might feel greasy, but after it sets, it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. As someone with super sensitive combination dehydrated skin, this is the first sunscreen that truly works for me! I'm so satisfied with this product that I can't really think of any downsides. - hj******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 15, 2025
I bought this last August for a trip abroad. I almost got two because the amount looked small, but I'm still using the one I bought! No lie, I rarely wear makeup and only use sunscreen about 25 days a month. Yet, I still have sunscreen left. The volume is insane! It gives a natural brightening effect. I apply it right after my moisturizer. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it at all for those with dry skin, but it's great for oily skin types. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, it can feel a bit dry and doesn't spread as smoothly. Still, I'd recommend it to those who want a large amount and natural brightening. The packaging is really pretty too. Everyone keeps asking what brand it is, but I bought it on a whim and couldn't even tell them the name. It's not amazing, but definitely above average? I'd say it's a solid recommendation. It's drying, and in winter the white cast feels more noticeable. Not recommended for acne-prone skin. My sister has acne-prone skin, and when she applies it, it looks like she's wearing an egg white mask. If you apply it when your skin is still moist from your moisturizer, it glides on smoothly and gives a glow. However, if you're like me and don't like the glow, a light dusting of powder will make you look naturally fair-skinned. - ly*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I started using this after a friend gifted it to me, raving about how great it was. I'm absolutely loving the powdery finish and how gentle it feels on my skin. You can really tell it's mild when you apply it. Even with my super sensitive skin, I had no issues using it at all. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it. I personally liked the slight brightening effect, but I can see how some might perceive it as leaving a white cast. When your skin is feeling extra sensitive, using this sunscreen can give you a soothing sensation. - hk******Combination SkinInner DrynessRednessDec 2, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While it does leave a slight white cast initially that brightens the skin, I actually prefer sunscreens with a bit of a white cast, so it worked well for me! There's nothing particularly disappointing, but the texture is a bit thick, which made my skin feel slightly heavy after application.
