As a perfume cream product, it feels less sticky compared to oil-based formulas. That's really the only positive point I can think of. First off, it's inconvenient for busy mornings when you need to quickly open, use, and close the product. The screw-top lid is less practical than a one-touch opening. Moreover, while the perfume function is supposed to be the main feature, the fragrance seems to have altered over time. Even though I store it in a cool place, as days go by, the original scent fades, leaving behind an odd smell that discourages me from using it. Additionally, the product is quite heavy rather than light, making it more suitable for extremely dry hair. This product came as a random essence freebie with my Julie Imy Woody & Musk shampoo order. I was hoping for the same scent as the shampoo, but they send different random fragrances as samples. Some reviews compare it to Jo Malone's Blackberry scent, but I've never tried that so I can't say. The fragrance is a sweet and cool musk, which isn't bad at all. You only need to apply a tiny amount as the scent is really strong and lasts from the morning you apply it until you wash your hair the next day. Every time you shake your head, the fragrance wafts around. In terms of scent longevity, it's top-notch. While I appreciate the strong fragrance, it occasionally gives me a headache. It's more like a scented cream than a hair essence in terms of functionality. You should use this product with the mindset of just adding fragrance to your hair, rather than expecting it to work as a true hair essence. You must apply only a very small amount to just the ends of your hair, otherwise it will make your hair greasy and clumpy.
