1. Why I bought it I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, with severe redness that even worsened into rosacea. My skin is extremely sensitive, so I've always struggled to find the right base makeup. While browsing Hwahae, I came across this product and decided to buy it because of its great ingredients. 2. After using it It goes on white and brightens your skin by about half to one shade, depending on your skin condition. The effect looks natural, and it didn't seem to settle into the creases around my nose. The main reason I bought this was because, despite my incredibly sensitive skin, I didn't experience any noticeable blemishes. After applying it, it feels as comfortable as if I'd just put on a light sunscreen. As someone with combination dehydrated skin that produces a lot of sebum, I found that this product made my skin quite oily. I had to use blotting papers frequently to control the shine. If you're expecting it to cover redness or improve skin texture, you might want to lower your expectations before purchasing. The color is somewhat dull and grayish, so it doesn't really give that bright, radiant look. It doesn't last long. Partly due to hot weather, but after about 3 hours out, my skin just looks like my bare skin again. Even after thorough cleansing, my skin seemed irritated the next day... But this might be because I have sensitive skin with a damaged barrier, so take this with a grain of salt! 1. You can buy it for half the price on Coupang. 2. It applies better if you use a cushion puff. 3. Recommended for: + Blemish-prone, sensitive skin + Those who prefer light makeup 4. Not recommended for: - Those needing coverage for redness or pigmentation - Oily to combination dehydrated skin types - je********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2025
Skin type: Super sensitive, blemish-prone skin (I'm the sensitivity boss - even products claiming to be gentle sometimes upset my skin!) I'm always cautious with base makeup, but I'm so moved by Swanycoco's Peptain BB Cream that I had to leave a review! It's truly comfortable even for ultra-sensitive skin like mine. It's moisturizing, non-irritating, and adds a subtle glow - I've been reaching for it every day lately. ✅ Texture The texture is moisturizing and smooth. A little goes a long way in brightening the skin naturally, so be careful with the amount! It spreads thinly on the skin without feeling heavy, and you can layer it without it feeling suffocating. Gently patting it in helps it absorb without stickiness, leaving a fresh finish. I loved how it felt moisturizing even on dry days. ✅ Coverage For a BB cream, the coverage is surprisingly good! While severe blemishes might need concealer, it naturally covers mild redness and uneven skin tone, making your skin look much clearer. I love how it covers without looking thick, giving a natural, your-skin-but-better look. ✅ Blemishes This is truly the best part! My skin is so sensitive that the wrong base makeup can cause immediate breakouts, but I've used Swanycoco's BB for days without any blemishes! In fact, thanks to its gentle ingredients, my skin felt even more comfortable. I really want to recommend this to those with sensitive skin! 🔍 Room for improvement The longevity isn't exceptionally long. There's some transfer when wearing a mask, and it tends to break down slightly with oil over time. It's best to touch up carefully. Also, those seeking perfect coverage might find it slightly lacking. 💡 My personal tips * Apply a hydrating skincare routine first, then spread a small amount of BB cream thinly for better adherence. (Especially watch the amount!) * For areas needing more coverage, dab on a tiny bit of concealer for natural-looking coverage. * To improve longevity, try using a small amount of makeup primer before applying the BB cream. ✨ Overall impression If you're looking for a moisturizing BB cream that's safe even for extremely sensitive skin, Swanycoco's BB cream is perfect! It gives natural coverage and a subtle glow for a healthy-looking complexion, and you can use it comfortably without worrying about blemishes - I'm completely satisfied! - la****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 21, 2025
As someone struggling with dermatitis, I've had to avoid foundation and cushions, but still needed makeup. That's why I chose this BB cream. The color is just as good as foundation. It adheres to the skin beautifully. Even when applied thinly with fingers, it sticks well and provides great coverage. I think you can use it without worrying too much about your complexion. No blemishes to report. With its reasonable price and pleasant feel on the skin, I really can't find anything to complain about. Rather than using tools, I find it adheres better when I spread it with my fingers and then pat it in with a puff. - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 7, 2025
The upside is... you can snag it for a bargain price on Coupang! I bought it after seeing reviews saying it was gentle, but as soon as I applied it, my skin started itching and tingling. I gave up after just one use. If you don't have super sensitive skin, you can get it at a great price on Coupang. - tk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2025
Even with blemish-prone skin, this product doesn't cause breakouts and provides above-average coverage. It feels a bit stiff when applying, and the shade isn't particularly light. For those with sensitive or acne-prone skin, finding a foundation that offers good coverage without exacerbating skin issues can be challenging. This product seems to strike a balance, though the texture and shade range might not suit everyone's preferences. - ha*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 19, 2025
The coverage is quite good, and the ingredients are excellent, so I'll use it with confidence. Please remove the fragrance ㅠㅠ The smell is not good and I don't know why it was added ㅠ Please please remove it ㅠ - pe*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2025
After usually using foundation, this is my first time trying a BB cream. My skin doesn't feel dry, and it's comfortable even after wearing it for a long time. Now I just want to use this product exclusively. I hope it doesn't get discontinued! There's nothing particularly disappointing to write about, honestly! - ck******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2025
Ever since my skin became super sensitive, all my existing foundations and cushions (VDL, Sulwhasoo) would make my skin itchy and cause tiny bumps and blemishes as soon as I applied them. I figured it was probably due to pore-clogging ingredients, so I couldn't really use any foundations. I turned my attention to BB creams and looked for products without those problematic ingredients. That's when I came across Swanycoco. The ingredients looked good and the reviews were positive, so I decided to give it a try. While I'm not completely over the moon, I'm quite satisfied with it! Though there are a few downsides, for me, the pros outweigh the cons. So unless I find something better, I plan to stick with this. Here's my breakdown: 1. Texture: Thick consistency (doesn't run) 2. Application: Not bad, but it doesn't spread thinly so you need to control the amount 3. Color: Brightens skin tone by one shade (I'm a light 21 with deep undertones) *You'll need to apply it to your neck for a natural look 4. Darkening: Almost none 5. Coverage: Medium, pretty good for a BB cream! - Covers redness well, but not so great with pigmentation - If coverage is crucial, you might need extra concealer - I'm too lazy for concealer, so I just layer more BB cream where I want extra coverage 6. Staying power: Medium-low - Depends on skin condition and skincare routine (can get patchy or separate if skin is oily) 7. Irritation & blemishes: Absolutely no irritation, no itching, and no breakouts! I mean it, no breakouts at all! Plus, while most foundations come in 30ml, this one is 40ml. If you're like me and don't wear makeup often, this will last you ages! The downsides? Coverage, staying power, and lack of sun protection. The coverage is understandable for a BB cream, and it's actually quite good compared to others. The staying power is a bit disappointing. While it doesn't darken much, it can get patchy or separate depending on your skin condition. The lack of sun protection means you'll need to apply sunscreen separately. Using a mineral sunscreen underneath can make it look a bit cakey. For touch-ups, it's great to put some BB cream in an airless pump bottle and carry an air puff in a case. It's more compact than carrying a cushion compact. You can find these on Coupang! - wh*********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 28, 2025
I absolutely adore this product. I'm deliberately leaving a review hoping it won't be discontinued. Since daily foundation use often causes blemishes, I was searching for a better alternative. Swanycoco BB cream, with its high bifida content, seems gentler on the skin. I'm thrilled that I haven't had any breakouts since using it! While the coverage isn't as high as foundation, it's still decent. For an extra radiant look, I recommend adding a touch of blue corrector in specific areas. It's a game-changer for your complexion. I can't recommend this enough! The price is a bit steep, but if you search diligently, you can find places selling it at a more reasonable cost. - ky********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2025
✨️I've found my holy grail base makeup✨️ 1. Skin texture enhancement The most crucial aspect I look for in base products is how they enhance skin texture. My cheeks tend to accumulate sebum, and I have seborrheic keratosis, so if I use the wrong base, my skin can look worse than bare! I've been using Laneige Cushion Foundation for several refills as it was the best match, and I've learned that applying a thin, hydrating, and adherent layer is key to minimizing the appearance of skin texture. This product might not be as thin as Laneige, but it's more like an emulsion than a BB cream? It seems to absorb well into my skin while evening out my complexion! Even after a full day out, it maintained my Inner Glow without compromising my skin texture! I'm extremely satisfied.. 2. Longevity For the first time, I experienced beautifully enhanced skin texture that... stayed put... without breaking down. I'm truly moved..! My skin typically rejects foundation, develops dead skin cells over time, and is prone to blemishes if the product doesn't suit me.. so finding the right base has been really challenging. Even when I briefly wore a mask due to high pollution, my skin still looked great! 3. Color After stubbornly sticking to foundations, this is my first time switching to a BB cream. Apparently, BB creams are meant for problematic skin?! They say it's what dermatologists prescribe.. I thought a slightly ashy tone would be unavoidable, but since my skin isn't very light and has a yellow undertone (about a shade 21), the color looked incredibly natural on me!! Of course, it doesn't give a brightening effect. 4. Scent While I prefer unscented products, this has a subtle, pleasant cosmetic fragrance that I actually enjoyed^_^ 5. Ingredients Not only does it perform perfectly for my skin, but the ingredients are also great... I've truly found my go-to BB cream.. It already has all the advantages I'm looking for, so I plan to keep repurchasing it, but if I had to find a drawback, it would be the coverage? It doesn't completely conceal post-blemish marks, so I need to use concealer.
