The pads are a bit on the thicker side, which means they don't adhere as well when used as a mask. For the same reason, I found the amount of essence the pads hold to be a bit lacking, which was disappointing.

The plant-based extracts in this product are said to be excellent for soothing the skin. Perhaps that's why the pads have a scent reminiscent of plant roots or leaves.
