It gives a subtle glow, and doesn't leave the skin feeling dry even when used in winter. If you apply a heavy base, it can get a bit oily. It might feel a bit rich when used in summer. - ma****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJul 16, 2025
It applies thinly and feels moisturizing. The scent isn't particularly off-putting. It causes darkening. I thought my skin tone had improved, but I feel like I've wasted my money. - ru**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 14, 2025
The initial coverage is great and I like the ingredients, but I think the shade doesn't quite match my complexion. I'm planning to try something else. It seems to break down easily. Maybe it's because I lack the right application technique... - an******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 29, 2025
I usually don't go for heavy makeup, preferring dewy cushions or moisturizing BB creams. This time, I received a Dior foundation sample and I'm sharing my review after using it for over 10 days! It's the most hydrating foundation I've ever tried. I was careful not to apply it too thickly or heavily, and I paid close attention to any dryness after use. Fortunately, I didn't experience any deep dryness, even in this season! The formula is so moisturizing that your skin feels hydrated right after application. Although that initial dewiness fades over time, it doesn't leave your skin parched. For someone with dry skin like me, this is an excellent foundation for summer use! While it's the most hydrating foundation I've tried, leaving me with no real complaints, the only downside is that it's a department store brand, so the price point is a bit high. This foundation works great for my dry skin in summer, but I think it might be a bit drying for winter use. I'd recommend mixing in a drop or two of face oil to make it perfect for the colder months. - 69********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The glow is incredible and it makes your skin look amazing! While the coverage isn't bad, it doesn't completely conceal everything. It slightly blurs pigmentation rather than fully hiding it. It's a bit disappointing that a lot of product comes out with one pump. The department store employee explained that Dior pumps can easily break if pressed lightly, so they advised to press firmly each time. Apply a thin layer using a spatula. Start by gently patting with a damp puff on areas with uneven texture. Then, use a dry puff to press the product into the outer areas of your face. For areas that need extra coverage around the edges, lightly blend outwards. Keep in mind, this technique works best with thin cushion puffs. If you're using a thicker puff, be careful as the makeup might move around a bit when you blend outwards. - ws*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 7, 2025
Among foundations, I can confidently say this one creates the most beautiful skin finish. As someone who prioritizes skin texture and appearance, I tend to focus on color match and skin texture when choosing a foundation. The Dior Skin Glow Foundation is amazing - even with a quick application, it gives a healthy, radiant glow that's simply gorgeous. It's not an overpowering shine, but rather a beautiful luminosity that I really appreciate. Since it's quite thin, applying just one layer might make you wonder if you've applied anything at all. But trust me, this foundation really shines when you build it up with two layers. For best results, use a spatula or brush to apply a thin layer all over your face first. Then, add a second layer to the center of your face for that perfect finish. - ye*********Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2025
I tried a sample and found it great for dry skin - it's wonderfully moisturizing. While it doesn't provide full coverage, it's perfect for achieving a natural, bare-faced look. I'm a bit disappointed that it seems to contain quite a few less-than-ideal ingredients. - ar******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It naturally brightens your complexion and gives you a subtle glow On very dry days, it occasionally lifts slightly around the nose area - rs*****Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 20, 2025
When I first applied it, I was amazed by the incredible skin-perfecting effect and foundation shade. It gives that high-end department store foundation glow to the complexion. I was shocked by how severe the darkening was as soon as I stepped outside. While it could be my skin's issue, this glow foundation does have a tendency to darken, but it seems a bit extreme in this case. - no*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2025
My friend gave me a sample to try, and I was initially skeptical after reading reviews about it not blending well and lacking coverage. I mixed it with my usual foundation, but it still looked cakey, emphasized pores, and settled into smile lines. Disappointed, I decided to use it up on its own, and wow, what a surprise! Using it alone made my skin look amazing. It wasn't as pale as my regular foundation, and there was no dryness or excess oil. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I'm very picky about foundations, but this is the best I've ever used. It doesn't cake up, and the finish is absolutely phenomenal. It's not sticky, doesn't sit on top of the skin, and feels moisturizing (without being oily!) and smooth. The coverage is incredible (goodbye, visible pores!). After a bad experience with department store brands in my 20s, I thought they were overpriced junk. But this foundation made me understand why people splurge on high-end makeup. Once I finish my current foundation, I'm definitely switching to this. It's a game-changer, and I can't recommend it enough! I'm struggling to find any cons... How is this possible? It's just too good! Make sure to use it on its own for the best results!
