I've been consistently purchasing this exfoliating cleansing foam for ages! It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed after use. The downside is that it's been discontinued, so I'll have to find it elsewhere. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 11, 2019
It really gives a squeaky clean feeling. I used it when my skin was an oil slick in summer, but looking at the ingredients now, I realize they're terrible. Absolutely not recommended for oily skin types or those prone to blemishes. The ingredients are garbage. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2019
1. Excellent cleansing power Perfect for those who want that squeaky clean feeling! I discovered this around late spring or early summer this year and started using it. I'm on my 3rd or 5th bottle now, and it cleanses thoroughly, leaving my skin feeling fresh. I stock up during Tony Moly sales. 2. The scent? It has a slightly masculine skincare fragrance, but neither my mother nor I found it overwhelming. I can't speak for others, but I tend to hold my breath a bit while cleansing... So while some might find it strong, it's a matter of personal preference. I personally enjoyed it. 3. Exfoliation It contains scattered scrub particles, making it great for daily dead skin cell care. Unless you're scrubbing your face like you're doing laundry, it's not too harsh. The foam was rich and didn't feel overwhelming. 4. While it cleanses well and is a good foam cleanser in my opinion, the ingredients are a bit... questionable. It's hard to consider it an entirely good foam cleanser. I have combination-dehydrated skin that needs hydration. I also need intensive dead skin cell care daily or during seasonal changes. Without it, I get blemishes and excess oil, especially in the T-zone. For my skin type, it's decent and works fine. Although the ingredients are somewhat concerning, I use it to thoroughly cleanse off makeup and oil... Unless you have super sensitive skin or can't use scrubs, I thought it was okay. I'm not particularly tied to natural ingredients, so I get along well with 'chemical friends'. I recommend testing it carefully before use. + The texture is a bit thick, but you're not going to use it alone anyway... Isn't a foam cleanser meant to be used with water? It lathers well and I liked it... I think there's another similar foam cleanser in the same line? I'm considering trying that one too. Strangely, while many dislike it, I didn't get any blemishes and it controlled my oil well. I want to recommend it, but it's quite a peculiar product... 5. If you don't have the issues mentioned in point 4, I think you could use this satisfactorily. However, since it focuses on thorough cleansing, you need to follow up with good hydration. It might be too much to use this on days when you've already exfoliated. - aq************Combination SkinAcne SkinJun 5, 2019
As a scrub foam, it has excellent cleansing effectiveness. However, I wish the exfoliating particles were a bit smaller. The scent is an issue. I really wish they'd change the fragrance. It smells like men's aftershave or Daiso lavender acetone. The smell is quite strong and unpleasant. - qz*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2018
Love that it has scrub particles. Lathers well and has excellent cleansing effectiveness. The scent isn't overpowering. It's great at controlling oil. Works well for my skin! Due to its thick consistency, you need to use quite a bit of water. Its strong cleansing power is both a pro and a con - after washing, if your skin is dry, it can feel really tight. Occasionally, it might bring along a slightly larger blemish friend. It foams up nicely, so you only need to use a small amount. The scrub is more intense than you might expect, so use a gentle touch when massaging it in. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 19, 2018
Please, I beg you, don't use this product! I had never experienced blemishes before, but after using this, my skin broke out terribly. I didn't know better at first and kept using it for about 6 months. When I finally looked it up on the Hwahae app, I found out it contains some not-so-great ingredients. Now, all I see when I look in the mirror are blemishes. I'm worried about how long it will take for them to disappear. I've even had to buy a new foam cleanser to deal with this. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 17, 2017
Well, it effectively removes a lot of dead skin cells without causing pain, and gently exfoliates the skin It's quite drying. You'll definitely need to apply a rich moisturizer after using this Nothing in particular to add - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 4, 2017
I had a decent experience using this. I liked that it had exfoliating particles. However, as soon as I switched to a different foam cleanser, my skin reacted badly. I have oily skin, and occasionally I'd get a large blemish. That's a bit disappointing.
