Even the slightest excess of oil used to make my face look like a greasy pan, but with this product, there's absolutely none of that. Nothing particularly bad, except for the high price point... and the fact that it's been discontinued, haha. - 2h**Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 12, 2020
A product with no clear identity or notable advantages. The Vita Drop only provides a toner-level hydration to the skin. If you apply too much, it doesn't absorb well and even pills. That's about it... it's far too insufficient for dry skin. A waste of money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 19, 2020
Unfortunately, it didn't suit my skin well. My skin reacted badly, and I ended up needing a dermatologist's prescription. My skin broke out in tiny blemishes all over and became completely irritated. - 23*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 17, 2020
I liked the concept of 'Vita Drop'. The fresh scent complements the concept well. After applying, there's no stickiness and it feels great on the skin. The volume seems decent too. Being in a tube format, there's no worry about spills, and it's convenient to carry around. After using this product for two days, my facial skin completely flared up and I had to visit a dermatologist. Of course, different cosmetics work differently for each person, but this really didn't suit me at all. I've tried quite a few products before, but this was truly incompatible. It caused itching, tingling, swelling, redness, and bumps all over... I couldn't even get a refund, so it's just sitting in a corner of my room. It's not exactly cheap, and I really regret purchasing it. It seems this product is best suited for those whose skin responds well to vitamin-based formulas, or it might be better used on the body rather than the face. - hj*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2020
The texture is refreshing with a cooling effect, making it perfect for summer application! It's not too rich when applied before makeup, so your makeup doesn't pill and stays in place nicely. The price is a bit steep, and since it has a light texture, when used alone at night, my skin feels slightly dry in the morning! However, when used with another moisturizer, it hydrates well and works fine! - he******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 30, 2020
I bought this after testing it because it absorbs so well. I purchased it as an emulsion, but it looks like a cream - interesting! I love how it feels like it's refining my skin. I could tell it contains vitamin C just from the scent - it has that distinct vitamin smell. This might be a love-it-or-hate-it product for some. I didn't notice this when I tested it at Olive Young, but when I applied it at home in the evening, it caused a tingling sensation. I haven't seen this mentioned in other reviews. I've also experienced some redness and blemishes, though I'm not sure if it's solely because of this product. I'm unsure why it's causing irritation or if I should stop using it. I plan to try it a few more times. Does anyone know why it might be causing this tingling sensation? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2020
When first squeezed onto the back of your hand, it feels like a cream, but as you rub it in, it transforms into a water-like consistency. It's gentle and lightweight. I remember purchasing it at Olive Young for around 40,000 to 50,000 won, and I'm now honestly on my fourth bottle. When you apply this, your skin becomes incredibly soft and smooth. The price is quite high for the amount you get. Also, there's a bit of shine on your skin from when you apply it until it dries completely. - ir*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 29, 2020
As someone with oily yet dehydrated skin, I've found this product to be one of the best I've used. It absorbs well and helps calm my blemishes. I've been using it for two years now. The quantity is a bit small, and when you first apply it, there's a scent that's slightly sharp to the nose. Although it dissipates quickly, the fragrance is initially quite intense. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 18, 2019
Apparently this is still readily available at Olive Young, so I'm not sure why it's being called discontinued. Sometimes products that aren't actually discontinued get labeled as such, so it might be worth double-checking. The texture is thick, but it's a water-drop formula that releases droplets when you pat it in. You're supposed to keep patting to help it absorb for hydration, but... I've never understood how water-drop formulas are supposed to be hydrating. Anyway, there aren't really any good points to mention. Within an hour of applying, my forehead feels tight and my eyes feel irritated, like I have dry eye syndrome. After a few hours, my whole face feels tight. It's so drying that I don't even want to use it again tomorrow. Seeing the high silicone content, I wasn't surprised that it applied smoothly like makeup. Then a few water droplets appeared. I've always wondered what difference this makes compared to actual hydration. This product seems to create a transparent film with silicones while separating out water droplets. Are we supposed to believe that patting it in again will somehow make it absorb and provide hydration? No matter how much I pat, it feels like it's evaporating rather than absorbing. It's not even particularly cheap. Please discontinue products like this that damage the skin. Pro tip: For those whose makeup tends to separate, applying a thin layer of this as the last step in skincare can help prevent that. That's why I'm using it over the Tony Moly mugwort cream. - qn*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2019
The way it absorbs is fascinating, like water droplets forming on the skin. It absorbs relatively quickly too. A few minutes after applying, my skin started to itch intensely. I noticed it became bumpy and red. I had to wipe it off immediately because the itching was unbearable and I suddenly developed some kind of skin reaction.
