✨Diverse color range! - I use all shades except the darkest one for contouring! The yellow conceals old acne scars, green covers redness and inflamed blemishes, purple brightens dark areas around the mouth, and I mix pink and peach to hide dark circles. It's great that this product includes a yellow corrector, which is rare in domestic brands! ✨Smooth application and finish - It applies more moisturizing than expected, but blends out to a semi-matte finish. ✨Difficult color control - Since there's no beige shade, you need to be very careful with the amount... If you apply too much, your face can end up looking greenish in some areas, purplish in others, and yellowish elsewhere. You really need to use just a tiiiny bit. ✨Hard to purchase - I know NYX is considered an affordable brand in the US, but I paid almost 30,000 won for this... The product accessibility is poor. Honestly, if I had tried a tester, I probably wouldn't have bought it. ✨White-based shades - I have a 23-24 complexion, but the shade for covering dark circles has too much of a white undertone, making that area look a bit... floaty. ✨Unless you have makeup artist level skills, I'd recommend skipping this and opting for a domestic brand product with beige-mixed shades instead. - he*********Combination SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2022
As a woman in her mid-50s with combination skin and hyperpigmentation, I decided to purchase this product through international shipping. Living with dark spots can be stressful, so I bought this hoping for some relief. While it's not an ultra-sticky formula, the adherence is decent - just make sure to apply it evenly across different areas. The application is smooth whether you use a brush, fingers, or sponge - it spreads well without clumping. Most importantly, it helps conceal dark spots and blemishes. The key is that it neutralizes discoloration, so you'll see the best results when you apply concealer over it. The downside is that it takes some time to master using this product effectively. Understanding color theory and finding the right shade for your complexion can be challenging. This seems beneficial for makeup on mature skin. For larger areas with hyperpigmentation, I recommend using a brush, while fingertips work well for under-eye application. When used correctly, this product can even out your complexion so well that you might not need foundation, allowing for a lighter makeup look overall! - yj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 31, 2021
The color payoff is great, and it covers well without caking. While the palette might look thick and heavy at first glance, once you warm it up with your fingers and apply it to your face, it goes on incredibly smooth and moisturizing! The pigmentation is excellent, providing natural coverage that blends seamlessly with your complexion without looking overpowering. I wish the peach tone was a bit more vibrant, but that's just my personal preference. You can always pair it with a lipstick for added color. - am******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 22, 2020
Great value for money, color combination, and staying power. I think I got it on sale for about 15,000 won. On days I wear this for my makeup, my skin looks like porcelain! It didn't cause any significant pain or itching even when applied to blemishes. The colors might seem intense, but just a touch of the blue or red tones is enough for sufficient coverage! Out of the 6 colors, only 3 are really usable... It's difficult to use for correcting overall face color as it tends to settle into wrinkles and pores. For blemishes, use the green sponge to apply (put it on a bit thicker on the most problematic areas, let it dry a bit, then blend - this allows for thicker coverage where needed and thinner elsewhere, resulting in a natural-looking cover). Regarding some misinformation in previous comments about complementary colors: Yellow-Purple (for reddish dark circles and facial contours) Green-Red (for blemishes and redness) Orange-Blue (for bluish dark circles) These help conceal those issues. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2019
- The consistency is just right - not too thick or too thin, which is great. - The shade isn't overly light, so it works reasonably well even for darker complexions (in my experience, for skin tones 23-24). Note that it may appear slightly lighter in photos. - Excellent value for money. - Leaves skin with a soft, matte finish. - The contouring product absorbs too quickly (understandable since it's a foreign brand). - I recommend applying with your fingers. Using a brush tends to absorb too much of the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2019
I recently purchased this and it's great for concealing dark circles. It has a semi-matte finish, and when topped with foundation, it creates a flawless look. Apart from the ingredients, I don't have any complaints. It would have been nice if it came with a brush though. For dark circles, the purple/salmon shades work wonders, and the green shade is excellent for neutralizing redness. While it doesn't provide 100% coverage, I'm quite satisfied with the results. - lu********Normal SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2018
There's no better concealer for hiding dark circles and blemishes! It's not drying and the price is just right! It attracts dust too easily, and the case gets dirty with use Applying the color on the bottom left under dark areas provides natural coverage - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 13, 2018
The joy of feeling like I'm playing with colors like an artist. It's as if I've become Picasso myself! The disappointment of only applying it to half my face, and no one can tell the difference. It's like there's no change whether I use it or not. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2018
It effectively covers the yellowish areas around my mouth and nose, as well as the greenish tint between my eyes and nose. However, it does change my entire skin tone to an unusual color, so I need to quickly apply foundation afterward! It's slightly matte, but other than that, I didn't notice anything particularly negative. My pores are small, so it worked fine for me, but I think it might emphasize larger pores. 1. Yellow 2. Green 3. Purple 4. Pink 5. Orange 6. Brown I haven't tried 1, but 2 is great for occasional hormonal redness. 3 (purple) works well on yellowish areas around the mouth. 4 is perfect for dark circles. 5 brightens the nose area, which can be slightly darker due to blackheads. For the greenish veins between the nose and eyes, I mix 4 and 5 as needed. 6 could work as a contour, but its matte texture makes it a bit challenging to blend. - bm*****Normal SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2018
If you can get your hands on this overseas, it's worth trying for those with combination skin who need a variety of color corrector shades. The application and adherence are great. This product really brings out the unique color effects of color correctors. There's nothing particularly special about this item. Be careful with the purple and green shades - if you apply too much or don't blend well, they can clump or stain the skin. To maximize the effectiveness of color correctors, it's important to understand their characteristics and how to use them for different areas and specific concerns. For example, use green for redness or blemishes, and purple for dark spots, freckles, or deep pores. A tip: avoid using highlighter on areas with large pores.
