If you apply a thick layer before bed, your lips stay moisturized throughout the night, and you'll wake up with even softer lips! Also, if you gently exfoliate your lips before using it, the product absorbs better, maximizing its hydrating effect.

While it does provide hydration, the lasting power is a bit lacking, so you might need to reapply frequently. Sometimes the stick melts too easily, causing too much product to come out, so you'll need to be careful with the amount you apply.
