To be honest, even though I wasn't super diligent with application, I felt like my pores definitely seemed to have shrunk. I think I saw even better results because I focused on applying it more generously to the areas where I felt my pores were the largest, rather than all over my face. The cooling effect was surprisingly good! I usually don't use creams in summer because my skin tends to be oily, but the cooling sensation made this really nice to apply lightly. The attractive packaging gives an unexpectedly high level of satisfaction... I'm not typically one for an extensive skincare routine, but I found that my cushion foundation or liquid foundation seemed to apply much better after using this. Maybe it's because the cooling effect reduced the heat in my skin? When I first applied it, the cooling sensation was more intense than expected - it felt like I was putting mint on my face, which startled me a bit. However, I got used to it after a while and it didn't bother me anymore. It's possible I applied too much the first time, so if you're trying it for the first time, I recommend controlling the amount you use. Honestly, I didn't find any other downsides. If I had to nitpick, I wish the pore-tightening effect was a bit more dramatic. But I'm very satisfied with the current level of effectiveness. I applied it generously around my nose where my pores are enlarged and on my forehead!
