The essence has the same color as coconut water due to its coconut water content. It seems to provide a truly hydrating moisturizing effect. The texture is between an essence and a water, so it's less sticky, but it's not as light as water and feels like it provides deep hydration. It doesn't just lock in existing moisture, but feels like it's directly adding hydration to the skin. There's not much to complain about. Maybe the amount seems a bit small for the price? This is the best essence I've ever used. I have dry skin and generally good skin, but I'm prone to atopic dermatitis. When my skin gets dry, it immediately turns white, and if a product is too rich, I get small bumps. However, this essence is gentle and non-irritating even on my atopic areas. I use it with the emulsion from the same line, and I'm already on my third bottle! It feels a bit dry when used alone, but that's typical for most essences. It works great when layered with an emulsion or cream. Some say the '7-skin method' isn't good, but I'm not sure about that. I apply it twice using a cotton pad and let it absorb. The next day, my skin texture is amazingly improved!
