As someone with a slightly cool undertone, I found the color to be really pretty on me I bought this because I liked how the color looked when applied as a gradient, but the product itself is so intensely pigmented that it was difficult for me to achieve that gradient effect. As it's for the lips, it's hard to say if it suits my skin or not... But from my experience, it applies smoothly, has decent staying power, and the color payoff is intensely red. It's pretty nice for when you want to switch things up. Because it's so red, it tends to transfer a lot. When trying to apply less by wiping some off on the side, the edge of the container gets messy. It's not moisturizing at all, truly matte as described. It might be better to pair it with a clear lip gloss or lip balm. Here's a little tip: neutralize your natural lip color with some lip balm, then take a small amount of this product and gently pat it onto your lips like a tint, blending it out well.
