First off, the scent is lovely. My hair is wavy with lots of flyaways, which can get quite frizzy, but even a small amount of this product tames it nicely. It leaves a soft, smooth feeling. If you apply a bit too much, it can make your hair feel heavy and greasy. (I used two pumps on my shoulder-length bob and had to rewash it.) It seems to lack a bit in terms of nourishment. Make sure to apply it only to the ends of your damp hair after towel-drying, then style as usual. If you use just a tad more than the recommended amount, you'll get that wet hair look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2021
The fragrance is lovely. (It's reminiscent of ylang-ylang, if I had to describe it.) ★It doesn't contain any harmful ingredients!★ (This is the most important point) When applied to damp hair and then dried, it leaves your locks feeling moisturized. (Some reviews mention it being oily, but if you apply it to damp hair before drying, it won't feel greasy) It comes with a pump, making it easy to dispense and use. The quantity is generous. Since it's an oil and you only need a small amount, one bottle should last a long time. For those who prefer smaller amounts, I recommend using the product without the pump and just tapping out a few drops at a time. This hair oil makes me want to try other oils from the brand as well! Being a natural oil, it might also be great for facial use. The main drawback for me is the price. It's expensive... I wish it were more budget-friendly. After washing your hair, remove excess water with a towel, then dispense a small amount of oil. Apply it evenly to the lower parts of your hair, allowing it to absorb. Use the remaining oil on your palms to apply to the upper parts and scalp. - pa****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2021
My hair isn't too damaged as I only get perms once a year, rarely dye it (only once in my life), rarely use hair straighteners, and just blow-dry it. After realizing my previous essence had too much silicone, I decided to try this silicone-free hair oil. I focused on four main criteria: silicone-free, fragrance-free (including fragrance oils), UV protection, and heat protection. This product met two of those criteria. Using it, I found it absorbs well and doesn't leave my hair stiff the next day, unlike other natural oils I've tried. It's soft and fulfills its role as a hair essence quite well. What I love most is the scent - I wasn't expecting much from a natural hair oil, but it's totally my style! It has a jasmine scent similar to osmanthus, which I adore. It's a pleasant surprise since my other hair products are unscented. While some say the scent is strong, I find it less artificial than synthetic fragrances and it doesn't linger too long. It's rare to find hair oils without petroleum-based fragrances, you know? I'm gushing like a promoter because I'm so excited to find a hair essence I love this much. It's always heartbreaking when a favorite product gets discontinued! The price is a bit high, which is disappointing. However, considering the amount, it should last me 6 months to a year, so I think it's worth the investment. Like most natural hair essences, it lacks UV protection and heat protection for blow-drying or using hair straighteners, which is a shame. Are these features only possible with silicone? I wish makers of silicone-free hair products would consider these two functions - after all, every woman uses hair dryers, straighteners, and goes outside! Also, it doesn't prevent static electricity. Even silicone products couldn't tame my hair's static except for one silk-based product, so I guess it can't be helped, but it's still a bit disappointing. Since it's a natural oil, application technique is crucial to avoid greasiness. For shoulder-length hair, use 4-5 drops on damp hair (just towel-dried). Spread the oil between your palms, then use your fingers like a comb to distribute it through your hair. Be sure to keep your fingers spread out - if you close your hand, you'll end up with clumps! If it's not enough, add about 3 more drops and repeat the process. The amount may vary depending on your hair's damage, length, and thickness. Finally, use any remaining oil on your hands for your skin and cuticles, and gently squeeze the ends of your hair with almost-dry hands to prevent greasiness. - na*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2020
It's my first time trying a scalp massage with oil, and wow, shampooing afterwards feels completely different! After rinsing thoroughly and applying my usual hair products, I lightly coated my dry hair with a small amount of this oil. The result? My hair is gleaming and silky smooth. That's the power of a quality oil! As for the scent, I was initially indifferent, but I've grown to appreciate the subtle floral notes that gently fade away. I thought it might be a bit pricey at first, but considering how long it'll last, it seems like a fair value. - no**********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 20, 2020
The fragrance is lovely and the ingredients are great. When my hair is dry, I apply just a tiny amount and it calms down nicely. I also use it as a hair mask, and after using it, my hair texture seems to improve. If you apply too much, it can make your hair feel heavy and greasy. When I'm going out, I only use a very small amount. I end up using it most generously as a pre-shower hair mask. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2020
I bought this through crowdfunding at a great price. With 100ml per bottle, it should last 2-3 months, so I'm satisfied with the quantity. After using natural shampoo, even without conditioner, just this oil alone makes my hair feel soft. The jasmine scent is overwhelmingly strong, to the point of causing headaches. If it weren't for the fragrance, it would have been great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2018
The scent is quite pleasant. It adds shine to my hair and has good ingredients. The bottle design has changed too. I recently purchased this and I think it's great. The shelf life is about 2 years, and since it's 100ml, I'll probably use it up quickly. While Fushi has an official website, it seems they haven't been maintaining it since early 2017. Everything is listed as out of stock, and they don't respond to inquiries. It appears they might have closed down due to low sales and lack of brand awareness. If you search for 'Fushi hair oil' in Korean, nothing comes up. You need to search for 'Fushi Really Good Hair Oil' in English to find it. I bought it for a little over 50,000 won, which is quite pricey for the amount. Delivery takes 2-3 weeks or more. If you apply too much, it can make your hair look greasy. I like how it gives an overall shine and improves the appearance of my hair, but be careful not to apply it all over or you'll end up with very greasy-looking hair. I recommend using it as a hair mask. It makes your hair silky and shiny. If you're applying it to dry hair, just use a tiny amount on the ends.
