The product comes in a tube container with a semi-transparent, bluish balm-like formula. My hair is just past shoulder length, and using about a fingertip's worth was perfect. Instead of applying it directly to wet hair, I melted it between my hands first, then applied it all over my damp hair before drying. Oh my goodness! My hair was extremely damaged from bleaching and coloring, to the point where I couldn't even run my fingers through it without it breaking. But after using this product, I can actually brush my hair! It's amazing! The product makes my hair soft without making it greasy or weighed down. It leaves it moisturized and smooth in a fresh way. The best part is that it doesn't make my hair feel heavy or sticky! The softness lasts even after some time has passed, and the hydration effect is long-lasting and effective. I used to dislike how hair essences would leave a residue on my hands, but this product doesn't leave much behind, and there's less of an oily feeling, which I really appreciate. This is my first time trying a balm-type hair product, and I love that it can be used on both straight and wavy hair with different application methods, making it versatile for everyone. To be honest, I wasn't familiar with the product or the brand, but after trying it, I'm so satisfied that I'll definitely be repurchasing! If I had to mention a downside, it would be the scent. When you first dispense it, the texture is like Vaseline! As instructed, rub it between your palms to melt it with your body heat, and it transforms into an oil-like consistency. When gently applied to towel-dried hair, you can feel the damaged strands becoming more moisturized and soothed compared to before application! I usually apply hair essence after washing, but with other products, it was hard to notice significant softness or hydration. However, this product, perhaps due to its oil-like texture when melted, leaves a noticeable moisturizing effect and slight shine after application. I imagine those with healthier hair than mine would see even more dramatic results! Given how damaged my hair is, I'm very satisfied with even this level of improvement. My hair is particularly fine but voluminous, which makes it prone to frizz, especially with the damage. This product noticeably calmed my hair down. It's truly versatile! Also, as I have a hush cut, I often style it with oil for a wet hair look. Regular oils were too heavy and killed the volume at the roots, but this product isn't overly heavy, making it perfect for achieving that wet hair style. If you accidentally apply too much, it can make your hair greasy. Be sure to control the amount you use!
