The coverage, adherence, and application are all excellent. I keep using this product exclusively. I have rather sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes. However, it does seem to make my skin feel a bit dry after application. - in*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 24, 2023
The ingredients are simple and good. It doesn't irritate my skin, and I personally didn't experience any of the allergic reactions that I often get. It's convenient to carry around, and the color is pretty. Because the ingredients are so good, it doesn't absorb as well. You really need to take excellent care of your skin beforehand. Otherwise, dead skin cells become noticeable and it quickly starts to look messy. If you prep your skin well before using it, there's no problem. The ingredients are better than any other foundation out there. - tu******Combination SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2021
I've been using this foundation stick for 10 years now. What I love: Among stick foundations, this one seems to melt into the skin most smoothly and naturally. Even after application, it doesn't cause deep dryness in winter or break down excessively in summer. It's also easy to apply, so I've always relied on this and the Make Up For Ever Water Blend as my go-to foundations. I use a shade between 21-22, and the Warm Ivory matches my neck and face perfectly without any visible line of demarcation. What could be improved: The shade range isn't particularly brightening. Perhaps due to Bobbi Brown's focus on yellow-based tones, the overall color range tends to be natural and muted. Sometimes when I see someone with a radiant makeup look, I feel a bit envious and try other foundations, but I always end up coming back to this product periodically. I really hope they never discontinue it! - jk********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2020
Being a stick format, it's really convenient to use. It has a matte finish, but doesn't feel overly drying on the skin. The coverage isn't particularly impressive. The staying power isn't great either. I don't usually touch up my makeup, but after half a day, I notice a lot of it has worn off. Since the stick has a matte finish, it's best to apply it over a well-moisturized base. However, be careful not to over-hydrate, as this can cause the product to pill. It's all about finding the right balance. - pi*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2019
Great for quick application when you don't want to get your hands messy. Just swipe it on and you're good to go. Works well over base makeup, even for very oily skin. Super convenient for touch-ups or when you're just stepping out. The shade, between 21-23 warm ivory, applies beautifully. While it does simplify your routine, you'll still need to use a puff or your hands for the final blend. But it's still great! The compact size is a plus. It has a lipstick-like scent. The price is a bit steep, but it's definitely the best among solid foundations. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2019
After researching a lot before buying foundation, I came across this stick formula product for the first time, as it was said to be suitable even for blemish-prone skin. To be honest, I don't usually scrutinize ingredients in makeup products, but I thought it must be good if it's recommended for troubled skin. The shade 21 was a perfect match for me, and it gives a natural skin-like finish. What's incredibly appealing is that it doesn't get cakey even with layering! If you prefer a natural and lightweight makeup look, this foundation will likely be quite satisfying. Using a stick format makes me wonder about how to maintain it properly. I lightly dab it with a tissue before applying, but with such a small amount, it feels wasteful. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2018
Not an ad - This is a genuine review after purchase! I'm a 21-year-old who recently felt the need for skincare. Skin condition: Some redness, no severe acne or pitted scars. -> Generally soft skin / occasional big pimples here and there -> Very sensitive skin / If it flares up, small blisters appear all over the face - T-zone is quite oily, the rest is combination to dry, changes as it pleases What I check when buying: 1) Is it gentle - Does it cause allergies? 2) Does it contain ingredients starting with 'eth-'? 3) How many people experienced side effects and what kind, based on 1-star reviews? —————————————————————— Quantity and estimated repurchase period: The amount is quite small. My hand length is about 18cm, and the product is about that size. When you take out the foundation, it's a bit over 2/3 of the case. It's less than expected, though it is thick. If used daily as foundation, estimated repurchase period is 1-2 months. Price value: It's expensive.. Texture: Glides on smoothly with good adherence. Coverage is nice for small blemishes, though not for major scars. Despite having dry skin, it wasn't as drying as expected, perhaps due to summer. It felt moisturizing! Any allergic reactions or side effects: None - This is the gentlest product I found while searching for a foundation without 'eth-' ingredients. Downsides: High price for the small amount Not easily available for offline purchase Personal overall review: I'm very cautious about ingredients when buying foundations. Many products contain not-so-good ingredients, so I chose this after careful consideration. The stick format makes it easy to apply and blend, which I really like. However, there are many shades, so unless you know your usual tone or foundation number well, I recommend trying it in person. If that's not possible, check reviews on Naver, especially unfiltered user reviews, and compare with your skin tone at maximum brightness. Fortunately, Warm Ivory was similar to my usual foundation and seemed to match. It gives a nice one-tone brighter look than my natural skin tone, so I'm satisfied. I'll only respond politely to polite questions... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresJun 30, 2018
It absorbs smoothly while providing good coverage. The stick format makes it incredibly convenient to apply, which is probably its biggest advantage. Perhaps due to the shea butter, silicone, or surfactant ingredients, my face became covered in small blemishes. Those with oily or acne-prone skin should use this product with caution. Apply it with quick strokes, then gently pat it in with a sponge for best results. - fo********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2018
As expected from a stick foundation, it's super portable. The coverage is excellent - so much so that you can skip concealer if you layer this over your regular foundation. The shade range is pretty decent too. Considering the price, you don't get a lot of product. It's disheartening to see how quickly it diminishes with each use. It's perfect for on-the-go touch-ups, especially when your makeup has worn off to the point where you'd normally need concealer. Just swipe it over larger areas and pat it in with a puff. It definitely provides better coverage than your average compact foundation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2018
It's my holy grail - not too much, not too little, just perfect for my skin. It prevents blemishes, covers redness and pores. While it's a bit rich for summer use, I'm willing to overlook that. I love it! It gets oily in summer. While it covers pores well, its overall coverage isn't great. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells and needs to be applied with a brush. It's pricey, so better to buy it duty-free. You can effectively conceal pores if you apply it well with a brush.
