Just an ordinary shampoo! I used it without any issues. I didn't think it was exceptionally good, but I used it since it was available at home. It lathered up better than expected, making it easy to use even on long hair. While others mentioned the scent as a drawback, to my alcohol-loving nose, it didn't smell like beer at all, but rather like a powder fragrance. I'm not sure about repurchasing... It's a safe choice for both gift-givers and recipients... The bottle opening was really inconvenient. It was so frustrating that I kept the cap open the entire time I used it. I wish they would redesign this part... but that's probably unlikely...
