I only used this as a fixer on top of other mascaras, so I'm not sure if it's incredibly good on its own Because of that, I can't really pinpoint any specific drawbacks or areas where it falls short - is**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2022
Buy this without hesitation! I've tried all the expensive ones people rave about, but this one takes the cake. It sets beautifully and stays put like a champ. There aren't any downsides, so do I really need to write something here? I just wish they'd bring it back if it's been discontinued. Pro tip: Curl your lashes tightly before applying mascara. - bi******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresMay 27, 2020
I've tried both this and the Power Setting, and there's a clear difference between the two products. The fibers in this one really stick to your brows, making them appear longer. However, when I apply mascara over this, the white color still shows through. Also, it doesn't seem to last very long, and it tends to clump quite a bit. - gi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2019
The long lash effect works well. It contains fibers, which I didn't expect much from initially, but I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it was. For the lower lashes, if applied carefully, it can create lashes that are longer than my natural ones, though not extremely long. The solution is black, so it can double as a mascara. I previously used Etude's pink fixer which had a white solution that showed when it dried, but with this product being black, that's not a concern. It doesn't droop easily, which is a definite advantage for a lash fixer. However, on rainy or humid days, there's slight drooping. In those cases, I tend to apply mascara as well. There's no powder fallout from it drying. So far, I haven't experienced any powder falling or smudging under my eyes. It seems to apply a bit clumpy. The ends of the lashes tend to stick together and refuse to separate... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2019
Long lashes: This product works wonders for creating long, stunning lashes. Expression: It beautifully extends your eyelashes, making them look gorgeous and elongated. It's such an amazing find that I'm constantly stocking up, worried it might be discontinued due to its underrated status. The expressive power is truly unparalleled. Price: When on sale, you can snag this gem for around $8, making it an absolute steal! The fibers do tend to fall off as time passes, but it's not noticeable enough to be a real concern. For doll-like lashes, apply a fixer and immediately use an eyelash curler to pinch the tips of your lashes together. - ly*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2018
When applied alone, e*tude becomes white eyebrows later on, and a**um feels like it lacks fibers. Missha's mascara fixer, however, is rich in fibers and can be used on its own, which is its advantage among the three. It's great when applied alone, and when layered with mascara, it stays put all day long. There's nothing like that. Even though I usually use brown mascara, I'll keep using this one. You know not to apply products with lots of fibers to your under-eye area, right? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2018
It applies smoothly and unlike the Etude fixer, the product is black so it doesn't leave a white cast on your lashes. I sometimes wear this alone without any other mascara when I want a light makeup look. It's great for a natural, subtle look! There's hardly any clumping, so it's perfect if you're looking for a clump-free fixer! However, there is some excess product that flakes off. I had to remove small bits every time I looked in the mirror. I felt that it didn't hold the curl very well. By lunchtime, my lashes had drooped considerably. I wouldn't recommend this to those who prioritize long-lasting curl or have hooded eyes. The Etude fixer seems to have better staying power. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 9, 2018
This is truly the best... I heard rumors about Missha's 'bare face' mascara, and since I love a natural look, I thought it might be perfect for me. I was right - it's amazing! I had Etude's 'bare face' mascara sitting unused because it made my lashes too white, but this one doesn't whiten at all and looks so natural. I absolutely love it! It does tend to droop a bit, and while it's labeled as 'fiber plus', the fibers aren't as prominent as in other mascaras, probably because it's also a fixative. With just one coat, it looks like you've only curled your lashes. But if you wait for it to dry and apply two or three more coats, you can achieve a more intense and voluminous look. It's versatile enough to create whatever effect you're going for! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2018
It really seems to improve the staying power and prevents excess powder from flying around. However, I was a bit disappointed that it turns slightly white after it dries. Also, it tends to clump a bit, so I always had to wipe some off at the mascara wand's opening before using. - ko******Dry SkinApr 29, 2018
I can't find any positives! For me, the most important thing is that it doesn't smudge!!! Isn't a fixer supposed to prevent smudging?! This has absolutely no effect!!
