I thought it was just powder, but it's actually a powder foundation. The formula is naturally matte, so I highly recommend it for those with oily skin. First off, the transfer onto masks is unbelievable. Also, if you use this alone, the coverage, staying power, and adherence are all pretty poor. I definitely don't recommend using it by itself. Using this product alone isn't great, but if you apply a liquid foundation first and then use this as a setting powder, your skin looks like it's been photoshopped. This foundation compact is perfect for combination dehydrated skin. After only using liquid foundations, trying this was a game-changer! It starts to break down exactly 12 hours later, but it's so convenient that you can easily touch up with a beauty tissue or cotton pad. It's great for those with naturally good skin who just want to even out their complexion a bit. It starts to break down exactly after 12 hours and pills if applied too thickly. It's not easy to control the amount. The sponge is too weak against oil. I wash it weekly, but after washing, it doesn't feel the same as when it was new. I seem to use about 2-3 compacts per month.
