On days when I wear makeup, I tend to use a lot of cleansing oil. I found that it removes mascara and eyeliner cleanly and effectively. Being grain-based, it doesn't have an overpowering scent. I've been using it as recommended - removing makeup with the oil, then adding a bit of water to emulsify it and rolling it over the skin, which is said to help with blackheads. I feel like the bumpy texture has reduced somewhat, but I'll need to use it more to be sure. After use, despite being an oil, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. If you have dry skin, you might find this sufficient as a one-step cleanse. It's just an average oil cleanser. There weren't any particular drawbacks.

I tend to wear heavy eye makeup, so I usually spend a bit more time massaging it off, but even when I opened my eyes, there was no stinging sensation. Also, I loved that there was no cloudy vision after emulsifying! It definitely feels like an incredibly gentle cleansing oil. - It emulsifies well and removes makeup cleanly without clogging pores! - It removes everything else well, but I noticed slight mascara residue remaining.
