It absorbs well and isn't irritating, which I really liked. The scent might be divisive, so those sensitive to fragrances should probably avoid it. Just apply it lightly after cleansing your face. - dm*******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 11, 2025
The pump dispenser is super hygienic, unlike a dropper. For me, one pump provides enough product to do two thin layers. Despite being an ampoule, it has a slightly runny serum-like texture that spreads easily and absorbs quickly, making it perfect for a light yet effective treatment. It absorbs exceptionally well, and after patting it in a few times, it leaves a pleasantly bouncy finish on the skin. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, but I found this formula satisfying overall. I think it would work well for most skin types! What's more, the ingredients are top-notch, and it's free from artificial fragrances. It's also certified by the UK's Vegan Society, known for their strict standards, which adds to its credibility. Even those with super sensitive skin can use this without worrying about irritation! The AHA and PHA ingredients help remove dead skin cells and provide hydration, so I'd especially recommend this to those with normal to dry skin types rather than very oily skin. Due to the nature of AHA and PHA ingredients, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. But that just means it's packed with effective ingredients rather than unnecessary fragrances! And then there's the inevitable price issue... It's definitely on the pricier side. My routine goes like this: I start with a thin layer of watery toner, followed by a slightly thicker toner, both patted in gently. Then I do a 30-second bubble mask (which is optional), and after that, I apply this ampoule. For daytime, I finish with this ampoule before applying makeup. For my nighttime routine, I follow the ampoule with a thin layer of moisturizer to seal everything in. - se*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJul 8, 2025
*******Skin Type******* Extremely dry + Hypersensitive + Skin so thin you can see blood vessels through it + Overall facial redness (including eyelids and nose bridge) + (Never had blemishes other than milia for 20 years, but after using a famous witch factory cleansing milk, my entire face was ruined by folliculitis. Since then, my skin hasn't recovered, and I'm stuck in a cycle of almost healing, then breaking out again) + (Nadsica cream was most effective for calming blemishes, while Creocin-T, Ecrin gel, Ecnon cream, Esroban, Daiso Madeca24 ointment, etc. didn't work and caused side effects) + Constantly searching for the right skincare products... ********Current Skincare Routine******** Ceramide Mochi Toner Pack for 3 minutes (even if it's still moist, don't leave it on longer) -> 1 drop of Klairs Blue Drop -> Zinc-teca serum applied with a cotton swab only on blemish areas and left to dry (applying it all over causes irritation, so it must be spot-treated) -> Once absorbed, gently pat and apply Hanskin Panthenol Barrier Cream The 1st and 3rd photos show my skin before use, while the 2nd and 4th are after just one application. I should have stopped then... I noticed new blemishes appearing, but because some stubborn ones had calmed down during a period when my skin was improving, I was tempted to use it one more day. Now I regret it... Currently, I'm struggling with three times as many blemishes. There are no positives to mention. The smell is unpleasant, so I had to hold my breath while applying it. With such disappointing results on top of that, I'm feeling quite upset. This review highlights the challenges of dealing with extremely sensitive and problematic skin. The user's detailed description of their skin type and history provides valuable context for understanding their experience with the product. Their careful approach to skincare, including spot-treating and timing applications, demonstrates the level of caution needed for such sensitive skin. The negative outcome, despite initial signs of improvement, serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of patch testing and listening to your skin's initial reactions, especially for those with hypersensitive skin. - wj**********RecommendedJul 7, 2025
I can use this anytime - before bed, before applying makeup in the morning, whenever! It plays well with other cosmetics and it's so convenient to apply quickly when I'm on the go. It feels a bit pricey for the amount you get. The application feels amazing, but the scent is slightly off-putting. If I can't bring other skincare products with me, applying this about 3 times does the trick. - ss********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2025
It applies smoothly without much stickiness and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. You can feel your skin texture becoming more refined and firm. The initial scent might be slightly off-putting for some. - sg********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 26, 2025
As someone who's been using this product since it came out, without really knowing much about skin types, I've gotten so used to it that I barely notice the scent anymore! I just keep using it because I've heard it's good, and comparing my skin now to two years ago, I can say my blemishes have significantly decreased. The disappointing part is the pump bottle design. When it's almost empty, there seems to be about three days' worth of product left at the bottom, but it just won't come out! It's great that this product has helped improve my complexion over time. However, the packaging could be more user-friendly to ensure we can use every last drop of the product. - eu**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 22, 2025
I bought this as part of a YouTube bundle deal! Since it was part of a set, I didn't feel like I was paying a premium price. Some reviews mentioned a strong or earthy scent, but honestly, I couldn't really detect it. I only noticed a light lemon fragrance, nothing overpowering. The product's effectiveness is impressive. A few small blemishes I had completely disappeared, and it absorbs well, making it perfect for those who dislike sticky residues on their face. Personally, I feel it's also great for managing dead skin cells, though I'm not sure if that's an advertised feature. The jar lid can be a bit tricky to open. Also, when it first arrived, there was some powder-like residue on the outside - though this might have been unique to my package. Overall, this product works hard to improve skin texture and complexion. It's particularly suitable for those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, as it provides hydration without irritation. The lightweight formula allows for easy layering in your skincare routine, helping achieve that coveted "Inner Glow" without clogging pores or causing redness. - m_********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 17, 2025
It glides on incredibly smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. After using this before bed, my skin feels silky smooth the next morning. I have sensitive combination skin, and I'm pleased that it doesn't cause any blemishes or irritation. I'm not sure if the effects live up to its reputation. The price is a bit disappointing. It might be worth stocking up when it's on sale. It seems to work especially well when used as a wrap mask. - to****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
It seems to work well for acne-prone skin, and I love how quickly it absorbs well into the skin. The price point is a bit disappointing, and the amount feels a bit small, so it seems to run out quickly. - j0***Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 13, 2025
This is a product I always rely on! While I'm not sure if it helps with blemishes on a daily basis, I definitely notice a difference when I don't use it, so I just can't give it up. I make sure to apply it consistently every evening! The price... That's why I considered using it along with a more affordable product, but I haven't found a suitable one yet. It's a staple in my skincare routine that works hard to keep my skin in check. Though it's on the pricier side, its effectiveness makes it worth the investment. I'm still on the lookout for a budget-friendly alternative to use alongside it, but for now, this product remains irreplaceable in my evening regimen.
