The scent is reminiscent of herbal medicine, which might be hit or miss for some. Personally, I'm a fan. The texture has a slight viscosity, but it absorbs quickly when patted onto the face without leaving any stickiness or shine. It absorbs well. It's quite hydrating too. While I can't speak to any dramatic effects, it does provide good hydration and seems to slightly even out the skin tone. The price is wicked high. I bought it on sale for half off, but at full price? I'm not so sure... This brightening moisturizer works hard to provide a nice complexion without causing blemishes. It's great for combination dehydrated skin and doesn't cause pilling when you layer it. If you have super sensitive skin, you'll appreciate that it doesn't cause irritation or redness. It's a good addition to your daily mask routine if you're looking for that Inner Glow!

I bought this during a special sale event! I'm using this expensive product at a bargain price and I'm so satisfied... I'd be willing to buy it even at full price! The scent reminds me of the cosmetics my mom used when I was little..?? The more I use it, the more addictive it becomes, haha! As I apply it, I feel like my complexion brightens. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. For an ampoule, it absorbs a bit slower than I expected... But I personally dislike any feeling of product sitting on my skin, so this might just be my own perception..

(9/10) As someone with super sensitive skin, I felt a very slight tingling when applied during sensitive periods. Those with generally sensitive skin should be able to use it without irritation, but I recommend being cautious on days when you've done exfoliation or other treatments. - Texture and feel It has a slightly thin, white consistency that feels moisturizing when applied. It absorbs quickly too. However, after absorption, there's a rich feel, so I'd recommend it more for dry skin types than oily ones. It's like applying a low-viscosity oil cream? It feels a bit heavy. - Effectiveness I've used about half the product, and I've noticed significant improvement in skin tone, which is its main brightening claim. If your skin got tanned a lot last summer, you can expect some recovery. No side effects either. The price point is quite high, making it difficult to purchase regularly. Also, I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike heavy serums. My skin type: T-zone oily with blackheads, U-zone deeply dehydrated, sensitive Recommended for: All skin types My honest review after purchasing: - The essence has a balanced consistency, neither too light nor too heavy, with some oil content - Due to my deep dryness, I apply 2-3 layers before using a cream - It helps with deep hydration to some extent, though it's not perfect for winter - For spring, summer, and fall, 2-3 layers of this product completely eliminate any deep dryness! The price... it's quite expensive, unfortunately. However, I bought it during a sale, so it was more affordable. Applying it 2-3 times doesn't feel wasteful at all! It's a milky white serum with a slightly viscous texture. Unlike runny essences, it's easy to dispense and apply. The formula feels moisturizing and nourishing on the skin. The fragrance is a bit overpowering; it might have been better without it. While I didn't notice it during application, there's a slightly sticky finish after absorption. The regular price is in the $60 range, and you can get it for around $30 in multi-pack sets, but it still feels a bit pricey.
