Can't believe some people still haven't tried this miracle worker... It's truly the holy grail for my scalp! (For context, I have an oily scalp and typically wash my hair twice a day due to excessive sebum production.) I've been battling seborrheic dermatitis for about 6 years, and those pesky scalp blemishes were a constant source of stress. It got so bad that the front and back of my scalp would turn red, covered in blemishes, dandruff, and dead skin cells... It was really severe. I had been using Novoprox and Zinc Pyrithione before, but since I hadn't used them for long, I didn't see dramatic results in a short time. Since using the Cicatri shampoo, my scalp color has started to return to normal, and the blemishes and itching have significantly decreased! While I'm not completely cured of seborrheic dermatitis, I can barely feel any issues when I touch my scalp now! I can really tell how much it has improved. It's still amazing to me.
There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, though I suppose the amount you get for the price is a bit underwhelming. But well... what can you do? Given how effective it's been, I'll probably keep using it until it's discontinued.
It's best to use this product in two steps, as the instructions suggest. For the first wash, use one pump to gently remove impurities from the scalp and hair. For the second wash, massage the scalp thoroughly and leave it on for 3 minutes. I think I left it on for about 5 minutes. The cooling effect on the scalp is no joke! Actually, in the morning I do the two-step wash with Cicatri, and in the evening I use Cicatri for the first wash, followed by either Zinc Pyrithione or Novoprox for the second. I'm about 2 or 3 weeks in, and I feel like I've seen great results for such a short time. I'm planning to stick with Cicatri from now on! Additionally, I'm taking Noaccutane every three days. I used to try avoiding wheat flour, but that's really no way to live... There's just so little left to eat. So now I do eat some wheat products. I don't follow any special diet, just drink lots of water and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables... That's about it. Of course, I still eat some processed foods, but I should probably cut back on those. Cicatri is seriously amazing...!
