This absorbs well and doesn't pill.
ConsWhen used alone as a base, it tends to break down easily and can cause some darkening. That's why I use it with powder. I wouldn't recommend it for summer, and its coverage isn't particularly good either.

The staying power was decent, especially on days that weren't too hot.
ConsThe shade is way too dark for me. I'm usually a 21, but this made me look darker than my natural skin tone. Even mixing it with a brightening moisturizer didn't help lighten it up. I wish they had a shade 13 - that would have been perfect for me. It also oxidizes pretty quickly. I mixed it with a brightening moisturizer before going to school, and while it looked okay in the morning, a friend commented that I looked bare-faced after a few classes. Seriously, if you're a shade 21, avoid this product at all costs!

As I have dry skin, I sprayed some fixer on the puff before use, and the hydration level was quite good.
ConsUnfortunately, the staying power seemed a bit low. The darkening effect was also quite noticeable, which made my face look dull - that was disappointing.

Not much else to say about it.

That's about it.
ConsWhen I first applied it to the back of my hand, the color seemed to match me perfectly, so I bought it. But in less than 3 hours, the darkening was... too severe. Moreover, on a face with blemishes, pigmentation, and scars, it's as if I didn't apply anything at all. I've never seen a foundation with such poor coverage. Luna's concealer is the king of coverage and I use it well, but Luna's foundation is really not it. I recommend this only for those with good skin who want a truly natural, 'no-makeup' look. Not recommended for those with blemishes or who need coverage!!!
TipThe coverage is so poor that a concealer is absolutely necessary.

However, although shade 23 was a bit darker, it's a hydrating product that seems well-suited for dry skin types like mine.
ConsThe coverage wasn't particularly high, and it seemed to darken rather quickly as I wore it throughout the day.
TipGiven how dry skin can get in winter, it's important to build a solid skincare base even when using a hydrating foundation.

ConsThe coverage is way too sheer. Even when applied thinly, it goes on extremely light. I have dry skin, but after a while, my face starts getting really oily with this on. I think it might even be causing some darkening. I bought it because of the good reviews, but ugh...
TipHowever, it seems to vary quite a bit depending on your skin condition that day and how you apply it. Using a sponge isn't great - it just absorbs the product, which already has low coverage. It's better to apply with your hands. When I used it over my skincare routine, my face got oily, but when used alone, it actually felt somewhat matte. Still, I don't think it's a product I'd go out of my way to buy and use again.

It applies smoothly without feeling dry, and the absorbs well! If you dampen your puff and apply, you'll get a dewy effect. Of course, this means the coverage is minimal... The product itself has a slight yellow tint, but it's not excessive, so even if you use a lighter shade, your face won't look ghostly.
ConsMy skin isn't sensitive, so I can't speak to any blemishes it might cause. Being a hydrating type, the coverage is really poor. I don't have many pimples or spots to cover, but if I did, I think it would break down and make blemishes more noticeable... There's also some darkening, so after 4-5 hours it looks a bit dull. I bought a shade lighter than my usual, which worked well for my complexion. As I write this, I realize there are quite a few drawbacks... I'd recommend this for those with dry skin who just want to even their skin tone and do some basic skin prep!

It's not runny like water, but more like a regular foundation texture. Once you apply it though, you'll realize it's uniquely hydrating. It gives a prettier glow than most dewy or glass skin foundations. Thanks to its moisturizing properties, it doesn't cling to dead skin cells or settle into creases around the nose. As someone with dry skin, my cheeks and between my brows usually crack as time passes, but this foundation stayed smooth. There was hardly any settling into fine lines either. While many people find the coverage lacking - it won't hide large blemishes or pimples - it does a decent job of covering minor imperfections.
ConsI won't be repurchasing this, unfortunately. Apart from how well it suits my skin and its nice, hydrating application, I can't find many other positives. The biggest disappointment was the darkening! This August, I did a wear test with the Luna foundation. It only lasted about an hour before it started to gradually darken. I had done a full skincare routine, sunscreen, and brightening moisturizer before applying the foundation, so I was shocked by its poor staying power. I thought, 'Maybe I used too many products underneath?' So three days later, I tried again with just skincare and the Luna foundation. But after an hour - boom! Major darkening again. It's truly frustrating because it doesn't cause blemishes and has so many good points, but this darkening issue makes it unusable for me.
TipAfter struggling with the severe darkening, I finally found a solution to improve the Luna foundation's staying power! First, make sure to use the Luna fixer that's sold alongside it. Seriously, no other fixer works as well with this foundation. Second, mix it with a pink beam (for a glass skin effect). After skincare, sunscreen, and base, apply a first layer of Luna foundation. Then, for the second layer, mix Luna foundation with pink beam in a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio and apply to your cheekbones, between your brows, and forehead. This prevents darkening and maintains the glass skin look for much longer! (Using a damp sponge makes it last even longer - I recommend the affordable puff from Daiso). For pink beams, I suggest 3CE Baby Pink Glow Beam or TONYMOLY Luminous Beam.
