I dispense it once with the dropper and apply it all over, then dispense about half as much and apply it again to my cheeks. I pat it on rather than rubbing it in. When my skin feels dry, I apply it all over twice and to my cheeks once. In the evenings, I just use a toner and moisturizer for rest, so I only use this during the day when I'm more active.

It might be a bit heavy for oily skin types. It doesn't have a refreshing feel.

Instead of purified water, it contains aloe vera leaf juice, so there is no drying or dryness, making it quite moisturizing. Since my skin is extremely dry and prone to flaking, when I apply it in the morning, my skin feels moisturized all day. It's not exactly smooth, but it seems to effectively manage the dryness.
