  Pros

  I bought this without checking the ingredients. I heard it improves damaged hair, makes it smoother, and has a nice scent. As a fragrance lover with curly and damaged hair, I bought two large bottles. The main advantage? It's cheap... and it makes my hair soft!

  Cons

  I'm not sure if the scent is particularly good. While it's soft, it's quite oily and makes my hair greasy. But the worst part is the itching... When I used other shampoos, I didn't itch and felt refreshed. This one doesn't leave me feeling clean, and it keeps making me itch. (I've been itchy for a while, and I've been alternating with Aromatica, which leaves me feeling refreshed, so I avoided Dove for a bit.) I came here to check and... are those allergy-causing ingredients for real? I still have so much left and even an unopened bottle. What should I do? I guess I'll have to search for alternative uses for this shampoo... off I go!

  Tip

  I'm using the green Aromatica shampoo because it's supposed to have good ingredients. For a product without harmful ingredients, it lathers well and doesn't cause itching. It leaves my hair feeling clean, though slightly stiff. Pro tip: Instead of conditioner, add a few drops of vinegar to your final rinse water. It works great!

  If you're someone who believes that a great scent trumps all other factors, this shampoo is perfect for you! I'm not exaggerating when I say I've received over thirty compliments on how good my hair smells since using this shampoo. The fragrance is hard to describe, but it's a fresh, cozy scent that appeals to everyone, regardless of age or gender.

  As someone who's been using this for nearly three years, I was shocked to recently come across an article in the US stating that it can cause scalp itchiness and hair loss. Sure enough, when I checked the Hwahae app, I found it's full of harmful ingredients... I regret sticking with this shampoo for so long. With my seborrheic dermatitis, even good shampoos aren't enough, yet I couldn't let go of my attachment to the scent! While I didn't notice thinning hair due to my naturally thick locks, I've definitely seen an increase in hair fall over the past year. I strongly advise against this product for those with dry or sensitive scalps, or anyone concerned about hair loss!

  Dove shampoo is famous for its pleasant fragrance, and I must say, the scent is truly delightful. The lasting power of the fragrance is impressive as well.

  Cons

  Even with daily hair washing, my hair quickly becomes greasy, my scalp gets itchy, and I even notice a few small blemishes appearing.

  Tip

  To make the shampoo's fragrance last longer, try applying conditioner to your hair and leaving it for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. I've found this method helps the scent linger.

  Pros

  Great lather. Scent is so-so. Bought two bottles online and used them up completely. I have oily skin, and when I get dandruff, it sometimes makes my scalp feel squeaky clean.

  Cons

  There was a bit of itchiness, but it wasn't severe. (My scalp isn't particularly sensitive, and it's oily.)

  Tip

  But I found out this also contains that humectant ingredient...

  The fragrance is absolutely delightful! My hair texture has also improved significantly!

  Cons

  While it did wonders for my hair texture, unfortunately it made my scalp itchy. And oddly enough, my bangs have started to get greasy lately, which wasn't an issue before.

  This shampoo has such a lovely fragrance! After using it, my hair felt wonderfully soft and smooth.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, this shampoo made my scalp a bit itchy. If you prefer a squeaky-clean feeling, I'd recommend trying a different shampoo.
