  Pros

  The most appealing aspect was definitely the 'Chanel-esque' vibe. The case design is quite unique and eye-catching.

  Cons

  It's a disaster for dead skin cells. Unlike other lipsticks, this one seems to highlight every bit of flakiness, even creating the illusion of dry patches where there were none before. The staying power isn't particularly impressive either. It's not quite matte, not quite satin - it's as if it's trying to be matte but failing. It transfers easily onto straws and cups. Longevity is subpar. It's not ideal for darker-skinned individuals looking for a gradient effect. There's absolutely no truth to claims that it brightens your complexion. Perhaps it could look edgy if applied as a full lip color on very deep skin tones. While it appears vivid orange in the tube, it actually applies as a red-leaning coral on the lips. Overall, the lipstick itself doesn't seem to have much appeal.

  Tip

  Interestingly, it works beautifully as a blush over foundation. Try dabbing it on with the bullet, then blending with a puff for a vibrant orange flush. Oddly enough, it doesn't emphasize texture or pores on the cheeks. Pair this as a blush with a nude lip, and you'll look absolutely radiant. If you're determined to use it as a lip color, try layering it over a Chanel lip product, then top with an orange or coral-tinted YSL tint. This combination enhances the orange tones and creates a fresher, more vivid color payoff. The YSL product also helps mitigate some of the flakiness issues.
