It definitely moisturizes well, and I was able to use it without any sensitive reactions on my lips after application. The application is quite disappointing. Even with just a little pressure, it crumbles and leaves clumps on the lips, making the absorbs quite poor. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedSep 8, 2023
Its small size makes it convenient to carry around. The stick format is great for easy application. I'm not sure what this scent is, but when applied to the lips, the fragrance keeps wafting up to my nose, which is a bit unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to scents. - bl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
It's great for applying lightly without feeling sticky. There's a slight reddish tint to it. There are too many ingredients that could potentially cause allergic reactions. It's not a particularly hydrating type. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2019
It has a nice, natural color payoff. Plus, it's great for hydration. It tends to melt in summer or when left in warm places, making it sticky. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2019
It's gentle and has a lovely scent. The hydration is great, and it absorbs well into the skin! The staying power is just a tad... disappointing. But honestly, there wasn't anything major to complain about! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2019
It's small and portable, with a lovely scent. Just swipe it on and you're good to go! It's a bit greasy, so it takes a while to absorb into the lips. The stick format doesn't seem very hygienic. It's not incredibly moisturizing - more suitable for a light touch-up after applying other lip products. - pi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 1, 2019
When the seasons change, my skin gets rough and my lips become especially dry and chapped. Usually, even my go-to products stop working and my skin gets even drier, which was frustrating. But after using this product, I noticed some real benefits! Compared to other products, my lips feel less dry and seem to crack less. What's more, it doesn't just feel like a coating on top of my lips, but it's as if the moisture penetrates deeper??? This sensation of deep hydration made me even more satisfied with the product! While I don't have many complaints yet, this lip balm, although it lasts longer than other products, still allows my lips to become dry again after some time, leading to dead skin cells appearing??? The need to reapply frequently??? That's the one aspect I find a bit disappointing! In my case, it's not just my lips that crack, but the area around my mouth gets severely chapped. Emulsion moisturizers absolutely don't help, but if I liberally apply this lip balm to the flaky areas around my lips, it somewhat reduces the dead skin cells... When I gently rub off the loosened bits with my fingers, I don't need to reapply my makeup... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2019
Walking through the bone-dry night streets of Las Vegas, my face felt like it was about to crack. I couldn't stand it anymore and rushed into the nearest store for a lip balm. Surprisingly, it turned out to be so good that I'm still using it. It's moisturizing without being heavy, perfect even for hot and humid days. I've bought Burt's Bees lip balms several times, but they all have faulty screws. Once you pull it out, you have to push the product back in with your finger. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2019
I was wondering what to replace my finished lip balm with, and I'm glad I switched to Burt's Bees. The downside is that I've only used it once, so I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet. - wk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 7, 2019
I bought this with my own money, so here's my honest review! Burt's Bees lip balm was super popular when I was in high school. But for me, it just doesn't work well at all... Recently, my boyfriend gently suggested that I might need to take better care of my lips, as he noticed I had a lot of dead skin cells. So I started applying Burt's Bees lip balm religiously. Despite that, I still had so much flaky skin on my lips! I even tried lip scrubs and masks, but strangely enough, it made my lips even drier and more chapped! Then one day, I borrowed my boyfriend's Carmex lip balm. Oh my goodness, I didn't have to reapply it all day, and my lips stayed moisturized! I felt so betrayed by Burt's Bees... *sigh* The only good thing I can say is about the scent... It has a sweet, bubblegum-like fragrance! It smells like something yummy. As I mentioned above, there are too many disappointments. You use lip balm to soothe dead skin cells, but this actually made my lips even drier. I had fewer flakes when I wasn't using it at all... After ditching this product, I finally said goodbye to my lip flakes. Everyone... this product just didn't work for me at all. I used to look in the mirror and wonder why my lips looked so bad. After I stopped using this product, I finally said farewell to flaky lips. Try Carmex or Uriage instead!
