If I had paid full price for this, I would have kicked myself... It's not super lightweight, so there's a feeling of hydration right after application, but it doesn't last long. Not recommended for those with dry skin. For reference, I have dry skin that needs emulsion all over my body even in summer. The biggest drawback is the glitter... It wasn't visible during testing, but... I should have read the reviews before buying. The glitter is no joke. It would make for beautiful, shimmering eyelids if used as eyeshadow! It's even worse in person than in photos, sparkling like metal. I'm almost impressed by how they managed to create such fine, evenly distributed glitter...? Maybe because of the glitter, it tends to pill. Other emulsions work fine, but this one always pills. Ever heard of a body emulsion pilling? I just applied it and came to write this review because I couldn't bear to see another victim... I crossed and uncrossed my legs, and it pilled again! The glitter rises up, making it feel like lying on a sandy beach. I'm sorry for this harsh review, Burt's Bees staff...

I like the slightly fresh and sweet scent. I bought it during an Olive Young sale, and I often use Burt's Bees because they're a cruelty-free brand. I was going to give it 1 point, but I gave it 2 points for being cruelty-free. Update: On second thought, this product just isn't cutting it, so I'm dropping it back to 1 point.

The downside is...! It makes your skin super shiny when applied. It's so shimmery that people jokingly ask if it's a pearl emulsion. Though it might look pretty in its own way... Anyway, that's how it is. And as expected, Burt's Bees products are quite pricey, so I wait for sales at Olive Young to stock up.

I generally dislike emulsions that absorb slowly, making me hesitant to put clothes on afterwards. I even avoid applying hand cream to my palms because I hate that lingering feeling on my skin. However, the Burt's Bees Radiance Body Emulsion absorbs instantly, which I absolutely love!!! That's why I'm already on my second bottle. I've been really conscious about natural ingredients due to my atopic dermatitis (it suddenly got worse), so I bought this because it's 98.1% natural. Ironically, medication ended up healing my atopic dermatitis in the end. But I'm still using this product for its excellent hydration and how well it absorbs.

I noticed my body was sparkling like I'd applied eyeshadow all over - turns out there's glitter in the emulsion! I didn't notice this when testing in-store. After applying, my skin feels tingly and a bit red. Not sure which ingredient is causing this, but it doesn't seem to suit me. The glitter is too intense to even use it as a hand cream, and I can't bring myself to throw it away. The shimmer is really over the top - I'm not heading to a performance! This is quite a predicament. Please take note of this. Personally, I don't understand why Burt's Bees products are so popular - I find them rather disappointing.

The scent is refreshing and subtle. It's lightweight and not very sticky, making it perfect for use in summer or fall.

The initial application feels good, but as you rub it in a bit, it dries quickly and the shimmer particles seem to sit on top of the skin. Because of this, I'm not sure if it's actually moisturizing my skin well, or if these shimmer particles are even good for the skin. I just get an overall negative feeling about it, so I've stopped using it. Even though I bought it on sale, it was still quite expensive...
