The moisturizing effect is great. It's in a jar form, so it's easy to apply generously. An essential item for the winter!
Cons
When used continuously, it can cause something to appear on the lips. If I use it one day, the next day it's Blistex, the day after that it's Aritaum, and so on. I take breaks in between and then use it again.

The lips feel moisturized instantly. If you apply it generously, the flaky skin melts away.
Cons
My lips were dry, and after using this, the flaky skin came back within a few hours. It also felt very irritating and itchy. My lips were swollen. I would recommend those with sensitive skin to avoid this product. After trying this, I stopped buying the entire Carmex line.

I have chronically flaky lips, so I've tried literally every lip product out there. This is the absolute best for everyday use - it's easy to apply and really helps get rid of the flakiness. A lot of my friends use it too, and it's affordable, so the value is great.

Ah, the final destination of my nomadic lip balm life.... When I wake up after applying it generously, my lips become as soft as a baby's bottom, and the dead skin just easily rolls off with a tissue. I've been using Carmex for years now. It's so great!! It really fills my lips with deep moisture, and doesn't just sit on the surface.
