I opened the product expecting a clay texture, but surprisingly found a gel-like consistency! After gently applying a thin layer on my face, it solidifies like clay in about 5 minutes (which makes sense for a clay mask, right?). After 10 minutes, I rinsed it off with water, and it felt as smooth as washing with a low pH foam cleanser. I was impressed by how gentle it felt. Post-cleanse, I noticed a nice balance of softness and refreshment, about 60:40. It seems to be effective at removing excess sebum too. It doesn't significantly deviate from the characteristics of a typical wash-off mask, and I didn't experience any particular discomfort. What I really appreciated was how quickly my skin absorbed the emulsion cream from the same brand after using this product.
