I used the Shu Uemura cleansing oil, but it was expensive, so I kept searching for another cleansing oil to settle on. As a combination skin type with dehydration, I prefer cleansing oils because they not only remove my makeup, but also dissolve the sebum clogged in my pores, leaving my skin feeling clean. However, it was difficult to find a cleansing oil that suited my skin as I tend to have a lot of breakouts. When I first used the Shu Uemura cleansing oil, I noticed some grainy particles coming off as I massaged it in, which I believe were the impurities trapped in my pores. Thoroughly massaging it until the particles dissolved left my skin clean and refreshed the next morning without any blackheads. After searching for a more affordable alternative, I settled on the Skinfood Black Sugar cleansing oil. It has a similar 'pore-clearing' effect as the Shu Uemura one, but it feels a bit heavier and more oily. However, the refreshed feeling after cleansing is comparable. Pros

Even though I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, it feels refreshing to wash off compared to other oils. And I can feel the sebum on my nose melting away.
Cons
Wow, I've been getting a lot of whiteheads on my chin, like serious acne. And my forehead is just as bad, I don't know what's going on. The Skinfood Black Sugar Essence?? I used that too and had a similar reaction, but I'm never buying Skinfood again.

The oil has a light, non-heavy lemon scent. It emulsifies well and the cleansing power was better than expected. The feeling of the oil removing sebum or the scrubbing effect was pleasant.

The price is a bit higher compared to other drugstore brands, though still under 10,000 won. Many other drugstore brands on sale can be found for around 5,000 won with better ingredients than this oil. The ingredients are just too poor. While there were no breakouts after using it, I did get some milia (a small, white, raised bump) (on the nose bridge, forehead, and cheek area near the nose) (forehead and nose are oily, cheeks are dry combination skin). After washing and using the foam, my skin felt coated and very slick. There was also some eye irritation.
