This product was introduced as a beginner-friendly makeup item, possibly due to the price, but in retrospect, it doesn't seem to be that great of a product.

The brush is quite flat and has a wide surface area, and it takes some getting used to before you can adapt to this product.

The price is affordable, and the amount is very generous. It can get a bit stiff, but when drawing the eyeliner, you can scoop out a large amount with the brush, place it on the back of your hand, and immediately close the lid to empty it completely. This way, you can get a year's worth of eyeliner for only 6,000 won at the discounted price. Oh, and you should clean the brush weekly, and when applying the eyeliner, you should focus on one area at a time to prevent it from drying and hardening. I switched to a pencil a long time ago because I found all of this too much of a hassle.

If you know where to start and where to end the eyeliner, and how to change the angle and draw it up or down, this product should work well for you. If you apply eyeshadow or powder on top, it can last until the evening, but if used alone, it tends to smear a bit. If you're looking for both cost-effectiveness and convenience, I'd recommend the Pia eyeliner.

I bought the new product because I heard it was good, but I didn't know it had pearls in it, and it turned out to be a real mess.

The color is so beautiful. The pigmentation is great as well.
It's lovely to use as an eyeliner.

The contents harden too quickly, so a lot of it ends up being thrown away before I can use it all.

This was a product I used to use frequently.
Drawing eyeliner was the most difficult part, but the white gel makes eyeliner application easier.
The color is not too dark, so it gives a soft, gentle appearance.

It tends to smudge slightly and has some clumping at the ends,
so you need to use a cotton swab to remove the ends.

True to its name of Choco Brown, it has a natural and moderate depth.

For those without oily skin around the eyes, it doesn't smear.
I have a bit more oil around the eye area, so it does smear a little by the evening.

The lasting power itself is decent, but for those of us with oily eyelids like me, the makeup will get imprinted on the eyelid area right after application 😢 It used to be a serious issue in the past, and it's improved now, but it's still more prone to creasing compared to pencil gel or liquid eyeliners, so please keep that in mind.

The Baek gel eyeliner has been incredibly famous for years, so there's hardly any need to say more since almost everyone is already familiar with it. But I think the best advantages are the smoothest application and outstanding pigmentation among all gel-type products~ The built-in brush is also a great feature, as it comes out with a decent quality without needing to buy a separate brush.
I used the Baek gel a lot when I was a student, and I have fond memories of scraping the bottom of the jar to use it up and then buying it again.

It's a shame that the eyeliner brush gets clumpy after just a few uses, but the product is still an excellent value.

I was amazed twice - first by the smooth application, and then by the natural and clean color payoff! I've been using this product since high school, and it has never smudged outside. Plus, it lasts much longer than brush eyeliners, which is awesome•_•

There doesn't seem to be any shortcomings. I'm using it well. Haha.

The Soli is not great, and the gold pearl is tacky - it's just a cheap gold pearl. The brush and the main container are also separated from each other, which is disappointing.

This was the first time I tried a Gel Ara that I received as a gift, and since my eyes are a bit unusual, I've never seen an Ara that smears. But this one in particular didn't seem to smear at all, and the amount is generous and the color is pleasing to me.
