It's a gorgeous, natural brown shade that warm-toned beauties will adore. The thin, tapered tip creates precise lines effortlessly, and the staying power is impressive!
ConsIt sets and dries quickly, so you need to blend it fast. When used alone, it can look a bit disconnected from the rest of your makeup.

Even when applied thickly, it looks natural. It doesn't smudge much, so I'm using it well. Thanks to the color, even if it does smudge a bit, it still looks natural!
ConsI just realized it's been discontinued. Such a shame! The brush was great and all the colors were lovely...
TipAfter applying the eyeliner, set it with powder to make it last longer.

The Tony Moly Back Gel Ara is so well-known, it speaks for itself. 2. It's slightly lighter than brown, but not too light. It's perfect for natural makeup looks or when you want a bare-faced appearance.
ConsIf only the ingredients were better, this would be great. It's a bit disappointing. I'm planning to switch to something else.

The staying power on the eyelids was pretty decent. The color looked natural too.
ConsSince it's applied with a brush, it's a bit inconvenient having to clean it after each use. Also, I noticed that it tends to fade away at the outer corners of the eyes as time passes.

I've been searching for an eyeliner that's natural-looking, light in color, and applies well for filling in my under-eye area, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It doesn't smudge easily, and I can't really find any drawbacks. If it's truly being discontinued, I might need to stock up on a few.
ConsIt's extremely powdery, to the point where you could even use it to draw your eyebrows. While not necessarily a disadvantage, some people might find the texture unfamiliar and take time getting used to it.

The color looks natural and beautiful on cool-toned skin. 2. It's affordably priced. 3. I tested the Bobbi Brown one and noticed some under-eye smudging after a while, but surprisingly, the Tony Moly product didn't smudge at all.
ConsThe staying power isn't incredibly long-lasting. However, considering the price, the longevity is average, so it still seems to be a good value for money.

Smooth application Honestly, this is probably why the Back Gel Eyeliner is so popular. It's so soft that you can apply it with the built-in brush. When drawing on the eyes, it glides smoothly while still being gentle. It's great for filling in the waterline without irritation. Even beginners can practice applying it without any discomfort. 2. Natural color The reason I prefer the Latte Brown color among the Back Gel Eyeliners is its natural look. These days, most eyeliners come in deep brown, dark mahogany, or reddish-brown shades. This one has a natural, warm, slightly grayish light brown tone, making it perfect for those who find dark brown or black colors too intense. It's also suitable for students who want a natural look. 3. Brush It's great that the brush comes attached to the product, so there's no need to buy a separate one. The brush is designed for easy application, though its shape has both advantages and disadvantages.
Cons1. Smudging My eyes don't usually smudge easily, so it was fine for me, but people around me say this product smudges a lot. Be careful if you have oily skin around your eyes or if your makeup tends to smudge easily. 2. Brush As mentioned above, the brush shape has both pros and cons. I find it convenient to use the wide side of the brush to draw from the middle of the eye to the outer corner, and then use the narrow side to create a wing. However, using the wide side can make the line too thick, which can be inconvenient. Also, when carried in a makeup bag, the brush tends to detach from the main body and roll around inside.

As a beginner with eyeliner, I was quite nervous, but the lighter shade made mistakes less noticeable. Even if it smudges, it's easy to blend, so I'd recommend this to other eyeliner novices like myself.
ConsSince you apply it with a brush, I realized you might need to carry wet wipes when doing makeup outside to clean the brush, otherwise it could dry out. That's a bit inconvenient, but everything else about it was great.

Let me tell you about the great things I found with the Tony Moly Back Gel Eyeliner in Latte Brown! First off, it's incredibly smudge-proof with amazing staying power. I chose Latte Brown for its natural look. It's not too flashy, which I love. (This could be both a pro and a con - if you're after a more intense eyeliner, I'd recommend the black shade in the same line!) The built-in brush is a fantastic feature. No more searching for a separate brush - it's a real time-saver! In my opinion, it's super easy to apply! I find it even easier to use than pencil eyeliners. It's perfect for filling in the waterline! The tip also allows for a great wing. For me, this is my holy grail eyeliner right after Kiss Me. The subtle color makes it ideal for students as an everyday liner. You get a lot of product, so it lasts for ages. Lastly, it glides on so smoothly!
ConsThe brush tends to harden quite easily. If you don't realize it's hardened and apply it directly to your eye, it can be painful... (obviously!) The eyeliner takes up quite a bit of space in your makeup bag. It's not the most portable option. You need to clean the brush frequently to prevent it from hardening and potentially hurting your eye. There's a white cover inside when you open the eyeliner. If you throw this away, the product will dry out.
TipWhen I'm doing my eyeliner, I like to start with the Tony Moly Back Gel Eyeliner, then use Kiss Me to extend the wing. It creates a beautiful eye look! It's my current favorite combo. The first two photos show the exterior of the product. The third photo is of the eyeliner brush. The fourth shows swatches - I've applied it thickly on top and thinly on the bottom. Thank you for reading my review!

It glides on smoothly and is easy to apply. The built-in brush is convenient. The ingredients are gentle on the skin. You get a generous amount of product.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad, but it's a universal truth that to prevent any eyeliner from smudging, you need to prep your eyelids well (like using an eye makeup base).
TipTo prevent the brush from hardening, quickly wipe it on a wet tissue after use before putting the cap back on.
