The black pomegranate essence gives it a pleasant scent. Even after spraying and letting it sit for a while, it keeps my skin hydrated without feeling tight or dry. The bottle is a bit large for carrying around. It would have been better if the packaging was slightly smaller for convenience. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 25, 2018
I originally had combination skin that didn't require mists. My T-zone was oily while my forehead and U-zone were dry. I tried the Skinfood Black Pomegranate Mist because my cousin raved about it and gave me a sample. At first, I thought, 'Oh, is it good? Seems decent.' But the more I used it, the more I realized there's nothing quite like it. I'd heard that mists can be drying, but this essence mist doesn't dry out my skin at all. Instead, it makes my skin sparkle after application. If you spray too much, it can look a bit oily, but anyway, I've been consistently purchasing it for 2-3 years now. I use it when my skin feels dry or as a final step after cleansing and applying my basic skincare. For me, it's become a staple! I've been recommending it to many people. Well... if you spray too much, it can look a bit oily. It can feel slightly sticky, so your hair might stick to your face. That's why I don't use it in summer. In winter, when it's dry indoors and outdoors, I want to spray it often, but I'm hesitant to use it too much. I felt that using it once was enough. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those with very oily skin. The spray power doesn't seem that great. I've used several bottles, but it seems to get worse over time. It's hit or miss, I guess. Also, while I do carry it around, the size is a bit cumbersome. I always buy it when it's on sale! There's a sale once a month, so I never pay full price. Please note that this is just my subjective experience, so use it as a reference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2018
As someone with super oily skin, I usually try to keep my makeup matte. But that often leads to my makeup flaking off around my nose, which was so stressful. This black pomegranate mist is a game-changer! One quick spritz and like magic, the flakiness disappears. It's amazing! There's not really anything bad to say... I just wish it came in a smaller size too. The current bottle is a bit too big for me. I spray this mist frequently throughout the day. It's great for lifting my mood when I'm feeling down. The scent is absolutely lovely! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 7, 2018
The fact that it doesn't dry out your skin after spraying is enough for me. I've used many hot spring water mists before, but no matter how much I sprayed, I couldn't shake off that dry feeling. This one, however, is great. I also found the scent pleasant. The spray is incredibly fine and disperses well. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I didn't feel like it caused more breakouts after using it. The absorption is average. It feels like it creates a film on the skin? I don't think it's a major drawback though. I bought it when it was 50% off during a store clearance, and if it goes on sale for half price again, I'd consider repurchasing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 11, 2017
The mist spray is so nice!!! The scent is great, and after washing my face, it's less dry when I spray it on!! There's not really anything bad... It's not that moisturizing, though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2017
Skin type: Between dry and combination The mist spray format was nice and gentle. Other mists tend to make the skin feel drier after application, but the black currant mist did not dry out my skin and kept it moisturized. The scent was also pleasant. Personally, I didn't have any disappointing aspects - I liked everything about it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2017
The essence mist had a dewy feeling with a slight stickiness. So it's good to use in the fall and winter! Often, after spraying a mist, the skin can feel even drier, but this one didn't dry out my skin since it had a nice moisture boost. The scent was a bit too strong and artificial, which was disappointing... Does a mist really need to be this potent? And I bought it without checking the ingredients, but after taking a closer look, I'm not sure if I need to repurchase this. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 30, 2017
After starting to use the Hanul Foundation, it was all good, but there was a dry part. So I bought it, and it's moisturizing!!!! It seems to have some oiliness, but it's not too greasy, and the spray power is good except for the first few times. I recommend it~~~!! The size is large...I wish there was a smaller one that could be carried around. If you spray it before makeup, it helps the makeup absorb well. And if you spray it in between, it prevents the foundation from separating due to dryness~~~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 8, 2017
In terms of spreadability, absorption, and moisturizing, this seems to be one of the better mists I've tried. Due to the nature of the product, it can be quite easy to use a lot of it. The price is a bit high, and while the scent is not unpleasant, it's not particularly mild or ordinary either - it may be divisive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 8, 2017
Personally, I was satisfied with the fragrance and the mist had good spraying power, so it was evenly distributed which I liked. Other mists make your skin feel dry after spraying, so you have to spray them again, but the black currant mist doesn't need to be reapplied, which seems good. In my case, I didn't get any pimples on my face after using the mist. After spraying, my makeup also seemed to absorb well. In my opinion, it may not be quite suitable for those with oily skin...
