I heard great things about jojoba oil having no side effects, so I was looking for a reliable place to buy it and ended up purchasing from Sidmool, a trustworthy brand. Due to the cold weather, it arrived solidified at first, but it turned liquid at room temperature. Being unrefined, it's rich in nutrients, but surprisingly, it doesn't have a strong oil scent - it's almost odorless. The bottle is designed to block sunlight and comes with a dropper, making it hygienic. Sidmool's packaging is cleverly designed to prevent spills, as shown in the photo!
I often get small blemishes, but jojoba oil is said to be non-comedogenic, skin-friendly, and great for sebum control, making it suitable for all skin types. It's also excellent at combating dryness! Following a YouTube tutorial, I used it for an oil massage, and I noticed little particles coming out - either sebum or dead skin cells. Since I felt a bit uneasy about just letting it absorb with the skin's impurities mixed in, I gently wiped it off with a cotton pad soaked in toner, then applied cream before bed. I have oily skin, but since it's winter, my sebum production isn't too extreme. While there was a slightly rich feeling, it wasn't suffocating or sticky. The next morning, I was pleased to see that my skin texture had improved and the small blemishes had reduced. During the day, I mix a few drops with my cream, which prevents any deep dryness and feels great!
It's a shame that Hwahae Shopping doesn't sell larger sizes! The small bottle seems like it will run out quickly. It's supposedly good for body and hair too, but I feel I should only use it on my face to make it last longer.
I've heard that consistent oil massages can help eliminate blackheads and whiteheads while managing pores. I plan to try this routine two to three times a week.
