It's just a basic oil, really.
ConsI had this feeling like it might be clogging my pores...? That's why I found myself not reaching for it much.

The dropper format ensures hygienic application.
ConsI bought this after hearing it was suitable for all skin types, but... It's enlarging my pores and causing irritation. Despite the dropper, it's difficult to control the amount dispensed.

It seems to have reduced the dryness I typically experience after cleansing too.
ConsIn my case, it clogged my pores and triggered blemishes. Cystic and comedonal acne popped up on my chin, forehead, and cheeks. I had to stop using it. Even after just two applications, it completely blocked my pores.

As a person with oily skin who heard that a certain amount of oil is needed to prevent excess oil production, I decided to give this oil a try. The price is reasonable, so I thought I'd give it a shot, and now I've been using it for over two years. It's become a must-have item whenever I shop at Sidmool. After applying, my skin feels hydrated. It might feel a bit rich, but I'm satisfied with just applying it to my cheeks. When I tried not using it to break free from being a 'slave' to the product, my skin became dry and flaky.
ConsIt might just be my imagination, but I feel like the pores on my cheeks have become more noticeable...?
TipI didn't apply it to areas with blemishes. I used to apply it all over when I first bought it, but now I only apply it to my cheeks. Since I tend to have particularly bad breakouts on my forehead, I avoid applying it there just in case.

Let me share my thoughts: First off, it didn't cause any blemishes, which is a relief. However, I found that applying just the oil alone doesn't seem to do much. The real magic happens when you use it as the final step in your skincare routine. It feels like it creates a protective barrier, sealing in all the goodness from your previous products. When it comes to maintaining hydration and moisture, this oil really enhances the overall effectiveness of your regimen.
ConsThat being said, I have oily skin, and when I've made some fundamental skincare mistakes, I've noticed that the oil barrier can sometimes block my pores. This prevents sebum from flowing freely, leading to a buildup. Also, I have a feeling this might be too heavy for summer use.

I bought jojoba oil with some skepticism after hearing it might help. While the results weren't dramatically visible, I noticed the skin felt smoother to the touch, without the bumpy texture. The blackheads in the center of my nose seem to have diminished slightly when I look closely. I'm thrilled! Even this small improvement is so exciting... it motivates me to be even more dedicated to my skincare routine.
ConsI think I read somewhere that jojoba oil might clog pores. Since I've been using it daily, I've noticed one or two red spots popping up. It seems like using it 3-4 times a week instead of every day might help prevent this issue.
TipI followed a YouTube tutorial on how to get rid of blackheads. They suggested applying oil to a cotton pad and gently massaging the skin, then following up with a cotton pad dampened with water and cleansing foam. This method seemed to be even more effective in reducing their appearance.

I bought it to mix with my mineral sunscreen, and it improved the application. It's really perfect for mixing!
ConsIt might have been a bit too much for my skin as I experienced some clogged pores, so I've stopped using it for a while. I'm thinking of trying it again by adding a small amount to my toner. The oil itself is good though.
TipJojoba oil is great for sebum-related blemishes, so it's good for those with skin types similar to mine. I think it works well when mixed with toner or a light first essence in a spray bottle - it can serve as both a mist and a skin hydrator. I'm planning to try it that way too.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis product is perfect for creating a moisturizing barrier, even for oily skin, during dry weather that can leave your skin feeling tight. I always reach for it every winter and apply it before bed. I've tried Sidmool's Argan, Camellia, and Jojoba oils, but found the Jojoba oil to be the most hydrating. Of course, it's also the richest in terms of oil content.
ConsFor those with oily skin, applying too much Jojoba oil can lead to small blemishes. You know those tiny breakouts that occur when oil clogs your pores? Those with oily skin will understand. If you have oily, acne-prone skin, be cautious not to overuse it. Also, applying it on days when your skin isn't particularly dry can sometimes cause breakouts.
TipIt works well to mix a drop or two with your moisturizer. On extremely dry days, you can apply it as a final step after your cream, creating an oil-based protective layer for your skin.

Sidmool is great for giving out lots of samples as always.
ConsI've heard it could clog pores, but for me, it seems to have caused more blemishes. I've stopped using it.

I heard jojoba oil is great for the skin barrier, and I really saw results! The price is affordable and I actually prefer the smaller size. It's better not to keep oils for too long anyway to avoid spoilage.
ConsBe careful using this in summer if you have combination dehydrated skin! I thought it would be good for my skin barrier, but when I used it in summer my skin freaked out. It felt like my pores couldn't breathe and I got even more blemishes.
TipFor those who find creams too heavy, try adding a drop or two of this oil to your emulsion. You'll get moisturizing power that rivals any cream!
